Sharp is the second Marana receiver in the top five returning stat leaders after finishing his junior season with 47 receptions, 850 yards, and 15 touchdowns. He’s a productive and dependable receiving target who brings both consistency and big play ability to the offense. He’s a smooth athlete and creative route runner that shows a good feel for coverage and a natural ability to separate. Plus ball skills, he’s got a large catch radius in relation to his frame using good extension and grip strength to play the ball outside his frame and finish through contact/traffic. He’s well coached with good technique, knowing how to set up his routes and attack DB’s leverage to his advantage. Picked up his initial college offer from Jamestown in late January.

On tape, his ball skills and natural hands stand out. He’s confident in his hands catching the ball away from his body with good extension at the catch point. Shows strong grip strength with that ability to rip the ball out of the air to secure it through contact and traffic. Sets up his routes well to create positional leverage and establish a throwing lane giving him the opportunity to up and make a play. He’s a savvy athlete that can find the soft spot in coverage, get open on broken plays, and pick up yardage after the catch. Picked up his first D2 offer from Jamestown recently and would expect even more production going into his senior season.
