The number 1 ranked recruit in Prep Redzone West Virginia 2028 class [player_tooltip player_id='923337' first='Maddox' last='Twigg'] more than lived up to the hype on Saturday. Not only was he on point during the individual and 1v1s his testing numbers were outstanding. Watching him live for the first time he looks a Division 1 quarterback who is a non-stop grinder. Twigg showed up for the showcase after an intense basketball practice in the morning and still ran a 4.75 40. He was very precise and accurate during the 1v1s and team drills, hands down everyone's choice for the MVP. He posted a few of his throws below, we will have his testing numbers posting shortly.

Back healthy and poised to be the Spartans new starting quarterback in 2026, [player_tooltip player_id='1601625' first='Kyle' last='Lewis'] certainly helped himself with his outing over the weekend. He dropped his 40 time to 4.8 which for his size and length is very impressive. He also had a great showing in the team and individual drills, making many precise throws. This was a tall task for Lewis considering he was most likely not familiar with the receiver room being out of state, it sure did not seem to matter. I will be interested to see his overall testing numbers as he had all of the coaches talking.

I can see why we have [player_tooltip player_id='1589140' first='Addison' last='Brafford'] as an athlete and not just a quarterback, he did nice work in several different position groups on Saturday. Had to give him a nod for the top performer qb room the lefty passer earned it. Brafford was accurate and I really like how he throws on the run he is going to turn heads at the next level. He stepped into other group drills for the receivers and defensive backs too, you have to really admire the young man's work ethic.

Fairmont Senior High School product [player_tooltip player_id='1616382' first='Anthony' last='Smith'] was close to being named camp MVP and I would think he will be ranked in WV upcoming 2028 class rankings. Smith has a number of high suitor schools already after him and he had the coaches on site attention's early and often. He too will be another one I want to see the testing numbers for as he was excellent during all the group work.
