It is a hard task to keep track of every player in the state or even your section so many good players get overlooked. Here, I will go over 10 juniors that are offensive stars that did not get the recognition they deserve.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1513363' first='Kole' last='Szratter'] | Depew | Two year varsity QB that made the All State team as a sophomore. Has thrown for over 2,200 yards and 20 TDs in his career. The Wildcats have struggled in those two seasons but Szratter has proven to be a consistent player.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1811553' first='Brayden' last='Manns'] | St. Joe's | The Marauders ran a two QB system for most of 2025 so it was difficult for Manns to find a grove but he was a dependable player when needed. He is the front runner to be St. Joe's QB1 in 2026.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1701685' first='Anthony' last='Martis'] | Williamsville East | One of the more surprising snubs is Martis. Anthony led the Flames to their first playoff win in 15 years. He had an exceptional season throwing for over 1,400 yards and 22 TDs.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1371662' first='Isaac' last='Platt'] | Pioneer | I pegged Platt as a preseason Connolly Cup finalist but injuries pushed his season back some, preventing his mention in post-season accolades. He was a two time player of the week and led the Panthers in rushing in just 6 games enroute to a Section VI semi-finals appearance.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1811603' first='Thandon' last='Bensink'] | Chautauqua Lake | Another surprise snub on this list in Bensink, who had a breakout season and All-State mention in 2024. As a junior, he didn't receive the post-season accolades but he was still a dominating force leading the Eagles ground attack with 900 yards and 11 TDs. Even more impressive, he was the catalyst to Chautauqua Lake's improbable Far West Regional victory in 2025.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1811630' first='Glen' last='Echeverria'] | Frontier | Echeverria is not a name that is well known in the WNY community because Frontier does not win much. But Glen is easily the best player the Falcons have. He is small in stature but extremely fast on his feet with a quick burst. He won't light up the stat sheet but he is a fun player to watch.

RB Jordan Brown | Williamsville North | Brown had a breakout year as a junior leading the Spartans in rushing with 974 and 11 TDs and a Class A1 title.

WR Kyan Austin | Gowanda | Austin made a name for himself as one of the top passing targets in Class D. He led the Panthers high powered air attack in receiving with 37 grabs for 483 yards and 7 scores. There will be a new QB at Gowanda in 2026 but Austin should be regarded as a favorite for a Class D All League mention.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1649172' first='Joe' last='Santoro'] | Williamsville East | I started watching Santoro when he was a freshman RB on Will East's JV team. Now, he is about to be a senior and his game has gone up ten-fold. Moved to WR, he has been Martis' go to playmaker for the last two years accumulating a 62-928-12 stat line.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1561155' first='Kobey' last='Underwood'] | Lackawanna | The Steelers have always been a run first team so Underwwod won't put up the numbers you look for in an All-State player. But at 6'3 and near 200 lbs, he is the prototypical #1 WR and has made clutch plays this year as Lackawanna won their first Section VI title since 2022, when they were in Class C.
