I have been covering Santoro since he was a freshman RB on Will East’s JV team and he has shown his impressive skill set ever since. Fast forward to his upcoming senior season, he has developed into the Flames leading and most dependable receiver. He is quick and elusive in the open field. There is a need for lead back duties at Will East and it will be intriguing to see if Santoro will fill that role this year.

Santoro is a two-year varsity starter who had a breakout season in 2024. He is great at finding the holes in coverage and has solid hands. He will continue to play with fellow senior Anthony Martis Anthony Martis 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Williamsville East | 2027 State NY at QB. I expect Santoro to have his biggest season yet as he also possesses the athletic ability to play RB.

I first got to see Santoro play in his freshman season when he was the Williamsville East starting JV RB. He was a quick, shifty runner that was hard to bring down with his low center of gravity. Last season, in his breakout sophomore campaign, Joe transferred his quickness to the varsity lineup as their top receiving target. He is explosive out of his breaks and has solid hands.
