Martis holds a strong arm, and he can easily launch the ball downfield. He is an elite talent behind the LOS, and the Williamsville East prospect stands tall in the pocket, showcasing confidence and the ability to navigate and make throws through contact. I like his touch on the ball, and he puts his throws on the money. His poise is excellent and he keeps calm through plays and moves through his progressions well. He can use his legs to escape pressure, and is a solid athlete beyond the LOS.

Martis is one of my favorite prospects in this class. He has good size for a QB1 and does a great job of taking what the defense gives him. He threw for over 1,400 yards and 20 TDs spreading the ball around as 4 different WRs caught at least 15 passes and 4 TDs last season. He also led Williamsville East to their first playoff victory in recent memory.

Martis was spectacular in this game delivering 16 completions on 27 attempts for 215 yards and 3 TDs (including 2 to senior breakout player, Patrick Horsmon Patrick Horsmon 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Williamsville East | 2026 State NY ). Anthony will need to be on his A game to defeat Health Sciences next week.

This game was not a good indication but Martis is a player that WNY should be aware of. The heavy rainfall prevented Anthony and the Flames from getting anything going but his 68 yards on just 3 completions showed he has tremendous arm strength. He is also a first year quarterback that came into week 4 off back-to-back 4 TD performances. Martis has the intangibles to to be a premiere passer in Section VI.
