Szratter is entering his third full season as the starting QB for the Depew Wildcats. He has a strong arm with exceptional deep ball accuracy. I wouldn’t consider him a “running QB” but he can scramble very well and move around in the pocket. Kole is also exceptional on special teams as their placekicker and kickoff specialist.

Szratter broke out as a sophomore, but the loss of his top receiving target put a damper on his junior campaign. He still managed a respectable 1,200 yards and 10 TDs but a 5-2 league record gave them playoff hopes. Kole is a solid QB that can really have an explosive season as a senior.

Szratter had his breakout season in 2024 as he was named to the All-State team. In his second year as the Wildcats starting QB, he racked up his second straight 1,000 yard passing season and another Class B2 team selection.

While they didn’t pick up the win, Szratter showed he is a playmaking QB that can make something out of nothing. Kole is exceptional at spreading the ball around and taking what the defense gives him. His 14 completions went to 6 different receivers. He turned those catches to 213 yards and a TD. He also had a rushing plunge from 2 yards out. Depew has a chance to win week in week out with Szratter at QB.

Szratter had a breakout season last year and earned All State Honorable Mention honors. He is a good decision maker with solid accuracy and can put the ball where only his receiver can get it. Kole is a solid pocket passer but is exceptional on bootlegs. I expect him to build off his impressive sophomore campaign.

Kole made his varsity debut in 2024 and earned All State Honorable Mention honors. From is JV film in 2023, it seemed he was going to be varsity ready as a sophomore. While wins came at a premium in a competitive Class B, Szratter showed a lot of promise of what is to come for the next two season. He is a mobile QB who can make good reads and is exceptionally accurate, especially when throwing on the run.
