Pickerington is home to two D1 powers in Central Ohio. Both Pickerington North and Pickerington Central are regional final favorites heading into each high school football season, and a majority of that is due to the yearly development they put into their programs. With the recent update to our 2028 class rankings and the debut of the 2029 watchlist, we are going to take a look at some of the top underclassmen from both schools.

I've said plenty about Geo over the years, and my opinion is still high. He's one of the best defensive back prospects in the Midwest, and will eventually see the P4 offers roll in. He's got the positional versatility you want in a DB, and has excellent ball skills and athleticism.

Edmund is one of the best running backs in the state, regardless of class. The 2029 superstar has been rewarded with several D1 offers and high-end P4 visits. His combination of speed, athleticism, and vision is brutal for defenders to deal with. The Tigers will look to lean on him for the next few seasons.

Marquis made an impact for Pickerington North in his first season after transferring in from Westerville North. He played boundary corner for the Panthers, and showcased great ball skills. He's grown in size, and has filled out his frame well to this point.

Antonio is the next Williams brother to step up, coming in after brother Rocco graduates. He's a disciplined space eater who can get his long arms on ball carriers as they get through run gaps. He's one of the most impressive 2029 prospects in Central Ohio.

Chase has been a quarterback with some hype for quite a while now. He was a stud in middle school, but transferred to Gahanna Lincoln last season. He has now found his way back home and will look to win the QB battle and start for the Panthers. He has great size and frame and can spin it well at live camps and events.

Avery has grown a lot for the Panthers and carved out a pivotal role in the interior offensive line. He's quick off the line and plays with excellent positioning and physicality. His run game is where he shines. Avery, as a center prospect, is one of the more underrated offensive linemen in Central Ohio.

Justin is a long defensive back for the Tigers. He missed some time in his freshman season due to injury, but made some splash plays when on the field. He is a solid run defender and also makes plays on special teams. I would like to see more from Justin next season as he looks to take a step up in his sophomore season.

Demetrius caught my eye live last year in their victory over Pickerington Central. He's a tackle eater and is a rangy defender. He can play up top or in the box. If he puts on some size, I could see some MAC offers coming in for the talented 2028.

Michael is a fiery defensive tackle for the Tigers. He's small for the position, but his quickness and bend are challenging to deal with. He is a smooth pass rusher and can get under centers and guards to rush under them. I would expect him to move outside eventually, but he's carved out a role that works for everyone.

Kylion mainly was a special teamer for the Panthers, but did a great job as a defender on the kick return unit. He was aggressive at getting downhill and making hard-hitting tackles. He has a skill set for several positions, so it will be interesting to see which route he takes this offseason.
