After in-depth covering some out-state programs and athletes, I wanted to shift my attention back to the MSP metro area. Between Breck and Concordia Academy, a pair of private schools who had produced some sick talent as of late, I'm pumped to introduce 7 prospects, some with elite frames that you NEED to keep an eye out for next season!

An impactful DB for the Mustangs throughout his junior season, Gunn is returning as a key veteran presence for the Breck defense. Primarily a boundary corner, Gunn is adept in both zone and man coverage. When he's matched up 1-on-1 with a wideout on the outside, Gunn does a great job of sticking at the receiver's hip and is quick to disrupt the pass once the ball closes in. When covering the deep third, Gunn proves to be exceptionally zone loyal. He's rarely beaten over the top, and again does an excellent job of contesting passes. When asked to stop the run, Gunn does a nice job of being physical at the point of attack.

Another returning starter in the Mustangs secondary, Bean made a big impact last season as a safety. Bean is very athletic and capable of playing both inside the box and outside of it. I really like his utility as a run-stopper. Bean does a great job of driving RBs to the edge and fights hard off blocks to make tackles at or near the LOS. He doesn't hesitate to play downhill, and Bean's pursuit and low tackling stood out to me. When he's sent on a blitz, he can create effective pressure and will even make big plays in the backfield. With two more years left for development, Bean could transition into a highly touted prospect.

An OL/DL boasting an impressive 6'6" frame, Hegg is a 2028 whose stock I could see rising significantly over the next couple of years. He's got some varsity film from last year, and his size pops immediately on that tape. I'd like to see him play lower, but when he locks into a defender, he can plant them in the dirt with ease. He does an excellent job of locking into defenders' pads on run plays and moves his feet well after making first contact. His long arms can create problems for defenders when he's in pass-pro as well. Hegg is a great under-the-radar prospect, and I can't wait to see what kind of film he produces from his junior season!

Another Breck offensive lineman with a promising frame, Tareen is an aggressive IOL whose returning after producing some successful sophomore varsity tape last season. I like his mobility in pass pro and how low he gets to absorb a bull rush. When run blocking, Tareen fires off the ball well and is physical at the point of attack. If needed, he can also execute a successful position block to clear a hole for his ball carrier. With a season of varsity football under his belt, Tareen could be a key part of the Mustangs offense in 2026.

A varsity contributor as a defensive lineman last season, there's a lot to look forward to regarding Williams' junior campaign. He only has a handful of tape from 2025, but it's encouraging nevertheless. He's incredibly explosive off the line and possesses a very quick swim move that can burn offensive linemen in an instant. He works well down the line after the ball carrier and shows off solid pursuit downfield if the RB cracks through the second level. I like how he works through blockers as well. Williams should be an athlete to keep an eye on this fall.

A wideout who brought down 3 catches for 75 yards and a TD on varsity last season, Tressler is an athlete who is on breakout watch for 2026. On his sophomore tape, Tressler proves to be a gritty receiver who is both capable of coming down with tough-to-catch balls and racking up some serious YAC yards. He does a nice job of adjusting his route to the path of the ball, and I like his concentration of tough to catch passes. He also blocks hard, and despite being a little undersized, he fights tooth and nail for extra yardage after he's wrapped up by a defender. Tressler looks like an athlete to keep watch next season.

Another prospect with an eye-catching frame, Tillman is a 2028 prospect who has stock riser written all over him. Tillman saw a lot of time as a tackle last season, and he was frequently a giant mismatch for defensive ends. He plays really low, especially for his size, and Tillman is often able to win the leverage battle against shorter defensive linemen. He's got a stout base block and is surprisingly agile for a 6'4" 280 lb prospect. Tillman does an excellent job of working to the second level and punishes LBs when he collides with them. I'm a big fan of this kid's potential going forward.
