Look-Ahead: 5 Future 2027 Stock-Risers

We recently finished our January Stock-Risers series, as we <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/01/behind-the-scenes-of-the-2027-rankings-january-update/">broke down the 64 players who rose</a> in our January rankings in 10 separate positional articles. I'll link all of those below this piece. Here, I'm looking ahead, putting on my best predictive abilities to look at some guys I think could rise in the spring rankings update. Here are five future stock-risers from the 2027 class.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">5 Future 2027 Stock-Risers</h2>   The spring rankings update isn't the biggest for stock-risers, as we focus more heavily on the newer players who pop up on the radar. The guys who do rise in the rankings, though, often fit one of two profiles:   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Players with film that pops: These guys may have had decent statistics during the season, but turn on the tape, and they shine. Often, we'll see offensive and defensive linemen fly up our board in this update.</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Camp standouts whose athletic abilities stand out: These are the players who have been on the radar, but who really shine in person.</li> </ul>   Here are a few guys I think could fit the bill.    Pruitt had a stronger junior season than you'd might expect to see from a guy who moves up in the spring (rather than the winter), but I've started to look at more of his film, and he plays bigger than his listed weight. This could be a huge offseason for him, physically, and with some more weight, he may start to get consistent Power Four interest.     A massive two-way lineman at a school known for producing talented linemen, East is listed as a defensive lineman in our system, and he could certainly play there. However, I haven't seen much offensive tackle film of him, and I'd love to evaluate him on that side of the ball as well. I plan to make an effort to see him this offseason, and I have a feeling that could sway my opinion.     I recently saw a video of the 275-pound Morrow dunking a basketball, and that highlights the athletic potential of the two-way player. I plan to dig into some of his film from a strong junior season in the coming months, and I think I'll like what I see. He's mainly winning off of athletic ability, which isn't a bad thing when projecting future rankings risers. As he refines his game a bit more, I could see him flying up our board.     We've caught some recent glances of Eure, a physically impressive offensive lineman out of Hertford County. We're told he impressed several opposing coaches with his movement skills and strength, but we haven't gotten to deep dive into his film. As we spend time over the next few months really honing our evaluations, I think Eure could be a big mover in our rankings.     Wilkerson is a bit undersized, but I think another offseason in Scotland's strength program will do a lot of good for his stock. I like his film, and think that he can realize some more of his upside this offseason. He's a guy I'd love to see in a camp setting to really look at how he moves laterally and how he breaks toward the ball.
