Pruitt had a stronger junior season than you’d might expect to see from a guy who moves up in the spring (rather than the winter), but I’ve started to look at more of his film, and he plays bigger than his listed weight. This could be a huge offseason for him, physically, and with some more weight, he may start to get consistent Power Four interest.

Reidsville is known for highly-athletic playmakers and Pruitt definitely fits the description. He’s an explosive athlete (sub 4.5 shuttle) who can dip and bend around the edge with ease. A tackling machine, he grew as a pass-rusher as a sophomore and looks poised for a huge junior season. Elon has stepped in with an offer, and that staff is excellent at identifying young talent.

Kadence had a super productive season last year for a very good Reidsville program – 111 Tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks playing primarily the EDGE role. Kadence picked up his first offer from Elon University back in April and has had some other Division 1 programs interested in him. Kadence has an impressive burst off the edge when rushing the passer, rushing through the tackles outside shoulder so quickly that in some cases they don’t even get their hands on him. That same burst is used in making tackles in the backfield against ball carriers. Kadence shows some good hand usage in shedding blocks in the interior run game as well.
