As he continues to put on good weight, Kelly is getting stronger and that is showing up on film as he’s great at displacing defenders in the running game. He has the explosion to climb to the second level, which makes him a great candidate to improve as both a player and prospect.
A talented, athletic offensive lineman, Kelly can play center or guard and is at his best in space. While he’s good enough to bang around in zone schemes, he’s at his best when he gets moving and can pull as a lead blocker on power and counter runs. We’d like to see him gain a bit more weight to be ready for the college level, but as a high schooler, he’s a key part of Reidsville’s talented offense.
