2027 Rankings Update- New Dominant DL In Our Ranks

At 6'2 285, he has a unique blend of power, strength, and quickness that makes him a problem for opposing OL to deal with. McIntyre explodes out of his stance, plays with great leverage, and has dominant strength he uses to get into the backfield and create plays for loss.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>It's impressive seeing how well-rounded McIntyre is already. He's an every-down threat against the run and pass who can make some really impressive plays in pursuit. He's a dominant force on their defensive fronts who's starting to see his recruitment pick up as of late. At 6'3 280, he has the size, speed, and power to be a dominant DL on Pike Road's defensive front. I'm really impressed by his ability to play the run; he can consistently blow up the line of scrimmage and take down the ball carrier for little gain or loss</em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I really think Brooks is set up for a MASSIVE junior season. He's become a dominant piece of Pike Road's DL and has seen his recruitment pick up with how well he's played. He's a productive pass rusher/run defender who uses his quickness and strength to beat OL and make big plays behind the line of scrimmage. McIntosh is terrific against the run, often beating multiple blockers to take down the RB.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I love watching McIntosh rush the passer. He's a force on the interior with violent hands and a high motor, using them to work around offensive linemen and hustle after the quarterback. I'm really impressed with his pursuit/closing speed- he'll run down the ball carrier from the opposite side of the field to create stops, it's wild to watch."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McIntosh was a really productive piece of Andalusia's defensive front last season, dominating as a pass rusher against some talented offenses across the state. He's physical, can set the edge, and has the tackling skills to prevent anyone from breaking past him. I've been really impressed with Miller this season. Caldwell is quick, intelligent, and always in the right spot to make life more difficult for opposing offenses, especially against the run.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Caldwell is a monster against the run. He's constantly filling in lanes and meeting the ball carrier to create tackles for loss or little gain.
