He showed off his elite NFL bloodlines today and elevated everyone around him with some great anticipation throws and the ability to push the field vertically. Turner is a larger athlete than most of the players who were on the field today in the 14U group, and that gave him an advantage over his opponents. He created mismatch opportuntities for his quarterback, who found him early and often throughout the day as an imposing athlete out wide. He saved his best for last in the championship matchup with the Tennessee Vultures, securing two interceptions for his team. Fritz is a diverse route runner who can work the middle of the field or along the sidelines to force defenses to cover the entire field. He's a smaller athlete right now, but that didn't discourage him from stepping up against some long and athletic Tennessee Vultures receivers in the championship game. Thomas had several pass breakups and closed on the ball well for his size, showing fearlessness in coverage and attacking instincts.
