With that being said, I have been taking the past few weeks to release my 2025 All-State teams to highlight the top players from this past season in each class. After already covering 2A-6A, I will now turn my attention to 1A, starting with my 2025 1A All-State Offense!

[player_tooltip player_id='1200729' first='Deakon' last='Partin'] had a breakout year as a junior. In 12 games, he completed 125/195 passes for 2,233 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Partin throws an impressive deep ball, using his arm strength to lead his receivers down the field and hit them in stride with ease. He has also shown a great feel for pressure, showing the ability to escape the pocket when needed while keeping his eyes down the field to find the open receiver. Deakon also scored five rushing touchdowns as a junior. Partin has received some college interest and I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing some offers come his way this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='773246' first='Wyatt' last='Simons'] ended his high school career on a high note with a very impressive senior season. Simons led Nicholas County in rushing this past season, carrying the ball 205 times for 1,691 yards and 23 touchdowns in 11 games. Wyatt is a strong downhill runner who has shown the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while maintaining his balance to break tackles with ease. He has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense for big gains. Simons also made a big impact on defense at linebacker as a senior, leading his team with 105 tackles while also recording four tackles for loss and a sack. Wyatt surprisingly doesn't hold any offers but he definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level if given an opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2066932' first='Malachi' last='Kennedy'] jumped onto my radar with a strong sophomore year. Kennedy led his team in rushing, carrying the ball 170 times for 1,509 yards and 18 touchdowns in 10 games. He has explosive speed which he uses to hit the running lane with a sense of urgency then run away from the defense on long runs. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the contact balance to break tackles with ease. Kennedy also played a key role in the passing game, leading Dayton in receiving with 13 catches for 274 yards and five touchdowns. He also made an impact on defense, finishing his sophomore year with 58 tackles. Malachi is a player who college coaches should keep a close eye on over the next couple seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200728' first='Anderson' last='Lauffer'] has been on my radar for a while now and continued to impress as a junior. Lauffer led 1A in receiving, catching 57 passes for 1,025 yards and 14 touchdowns in 11 games. He is very dangerous with the ball in his hands in the open field as he has the speed to run away from the defense and elusiveness to make defenders miss which makes him a threat to turn short passes/screens into big gains at any moment. Lauffer has also proven to be a reliable deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He also carried the ball 33 times for 201 yards and two touchdowns as a junior while also returning two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns. Anderson also played a key role on defense as a defensive back this past season, finishing the year with 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a team-high five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). Lauffer has received a strong amount of college interest and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him heading into his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='378830' first='Gavin' last='Johnson'] is another receiver who continued to stand out as a junior. He finished the year as Hazard's leading receiver, hauling in 75 passes for 887 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games. Johnson is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to create separation and athleticism to come away with jump balls with ease. He has also shown the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to pick up yards after the catch. Gavin also carried the ball 43 times for 265 yards and a touchdown as a junior and played a key role on defense, recording 114 tackles, one sack, and an interception. Johnson recently picked up his first offer from Bellarmine and I can see more coming his way this offseason.

Kinney has shown very impressive contested catch ability, using his athleticism to attack passes at their highest point along with his strong hands to bring in catches through contact. Zayden has also shown the ability to use his speed to get up the field quickly to pick up yards after the catch. He also made an impact on defense as a senior, finishing the year with 23 tackles, two tackles for loss, and an interception.
[player_tooltip player_id='1553779' first='Wyatt' last='Moore'] finished his high school career with a very strong senior season. He is a versatile offensive lineman who has played all over the offensive line, mainly lining up at left tackle as a senior. Moore is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and run his feet through contact to drive his man down the field with ease. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. In pass protection, he does a great job of fighting with his hands to defeat pass rush moves while maintaining a strong base. Wyatt holds offers from Morehead State, Dayton, Ohio Wesleyan, and Pikeville, and I can see him being a true impact player wherever he ends up playing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1715699' first='Austin' last='Sloan'] had a very impressive junior year at right tackle for Campbellsville. Sloan is very reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge with ease. He also does a great job of keeping a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing easy penetration into the pocket. Austin is also very impressive as a run blocker, showing the ability to create movement off the line of scrimmage with ease and finish his blocks through the whistle. Sloan currently holds offers from Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year.

Stuckey also does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man out of the picture. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers while also using his hands to defeat pass rush moves.
