has been on my radar for a while now and continued to impress as a junior. Lauffer led 1A in receiving, catching 57 passes for 1,025 yards and 14 touchdowns in 11 games. He is very dangerous with the ball in his hands in the open field as he has the speed to run away from the defense and elusiveness to make defenders miss which makes him a threat to turn short passes/screens into big gains at any moment. Lauffer has also proven to be a reliable deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He also carried the ball 33 times for 201 yards and two touchdowns as a junior while also returning two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns. Anderson also played a key role on defense as a defensive back this past season, finishing the year with 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a team-high five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). Lauffer has received a strong amount of college interest and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him heading into his senior year.

has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to stand out as a junior. He is a player who Paintsville loves to get the ball to quickly in open space and he has the elusiveness and speed in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. Anderson has also shown the ability to use his speed to create separation in the deep passing game. He leads his team in receiving with 27 catches for 507 yards and eight touchdowns through their first six games. Lauffer has also carried the ball 24 times for 166 yards and two touchdowns, and has returned two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns so far this season. He has also made an impact on defense, recording 16 tackles, one tackle for loss, and a team-high three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). Anderson has received some college interest and I expect college coaches to continue watching his closely over the next couple seasons.

is another wide receiver who stood out last season. As a sophomore, Lauffer led his team in receiving with 35 catches for 644 yards and seven touchdowns. He does a great job of using his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Anderson is also dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. He also rushed for over 100 yards and threw two touchdown passes as a sophomore, and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two interceptions. Lauffer doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who I expect college coaches to have their eyes on over the next two seasons.

is a player who has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to impress so far this season. Lauffer is an explosive playmaker at receiver on offense, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn catches in big gains at any given moment. Paintsville hasn’t posted their week two stats but in their season opener, Lauffer caught eight passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns. He also plays a key role on defense as a defensive back, finishing their first game this season with three tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception. Anderson doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep a close eye on.

, an athlete at Paintsville High School. Lauffer stands out with his explosive footwork and movement, proving he can quickly haul in the short pass and utilize bursts of speed to break tackles and create seperation en route to the backfield. I also like how Lauffer can deceive the defense off the snap, using his breakaway speed to pick up ground from along the edge.
