Top Uncommitted 2026 Quarterbacks

We're about to put a bow on the 2026 class, but before we do, I wanted to take a few days to break down some of the best seniors at each position who are still uncommitted. Hopefully, these guys will find homes because they're talented enough to play at the next level.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Uncommitted 2026 QBs</h2>    Farmer just completed one of the best senior seasons in state history, capped by a 10(!) touchdown performance in the state championship game, but he's been on our radar for much longer than that. Farmer has prototypical size and arm talent, and he's shown the ability to push the ball down the field with accuracy. He's picked up a few recent offers, but has yet to commit.     We've seen Cato in a camp setting a few times over the years and came away impressed with his poise and arm talent each time. He took a huge step forward as both a runner and a decision-maker as a senior, and projects as a high-upside pocket passer with plenty of athleticism to escape and extend plays.     Already one of the best athletes in the state, Melton took noticeable strides as a passer in 2025. Rather than being as boom or bust as he was in the past, he improved his consistency and accuracy to all fields, showcasing more throws, both over the middle and outside the numbers. Still, the biggest draw here is his dual-threat ability, as he runs a 4.5, and averaged over 10 yards per carry in each of the last two seasons.     A true dual-threat quarterback, Kemp led his Nighthawks' team to the 6A semifinals (a game they lost after eventual champion Watauga connected on a game-winning two-point conversion in a shootout) and was honored as the TAAC Six 5A/6A Player of the Year. He's improved his accuracy and has a repeatable throwing motion that suggests there may be more untapped potential there.     Jones has a unique profile in that he was a backup for most of his final two years in high school after transferring to Clayton. He is arguably a more polished passer than the dual-threat Power Four commit ahead of him, and was occasionally used in must-pass and two-minute situations. He has size, arm talent, and accuracy, and will likely impress coaches at winter camps.    Prep Redzone NC doesn't break for the offseason!
