Top 2026 Uncommitted Defensive Linemen

We're about to put a bow on the 2026 class as we drop our final rankings on Monday, but before we do, I wanted to take a few days to break down some of the best seniors at each position who are still uncommitted. Hopefully, these guys will find homes because they're talented enough to play at the next level.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Uncommitted 2026 IDL</h2>    Oriol was one of our <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/12/top-50-of-2025/">Top 50 of 2025</a>, thanks to a fantastic senior season anchoring a strong Panther Creek defense. However, his recruitment hasn't really caught up to his talent, as he's still available, despite being ranked above several FCS commits. He plays much bigger than his frame would indicate, and that allows him to not only hold up in the running game but to flash dominant reps.     Stewart has been on our radar for a while, but it took him a bit longer to break out. After a huge senior season, he earned an invite to the QC Senior Bowl. A versatile defensive lineman, he can play inside or outside, though we like him as a high-upside interior defender with excellent pass-rushing potential.     Black had a huge senior year for Jay M. Robinson, capping a career with marked improvement every season. Perhaps most noticably, Black went from a pure run stopper to a player who flashed some interior pass-rushing prowess as a senior, with four sacks and a number of pressures. He has great strength and plays with a strong base and excellent balance.     Even at this point, we're still not exactly sure which position Watts will play in college, but I personally lean toward the pass-rusher thriving as an undersized three-technique at the college level. There's some room on his frame to hold more healthy weight and he excels at shooting interior gaps and making big plays in the backfield.     Always an undersized, but productive, interior defender, Perry put in a ton of work in the offseason prior to his senior year and went from about 270 pounds to nearly 300. He didn't rack up the same statistics while playing a newer nose tackle role, but colleges noticed the changes and he's recently earned a string of late-season offers. He's still uncommitted, and his work rate and strength will excite his future coaches.    Prep Redzone NC doesn't break for the offseason!
