Stewart has been on our radar for a while, but it took him a bit longer to break out. After a huge senior season, he earned an invite to the QC Senior Bowl. A versatile defensive lineman, he can play inside or outside, though we like him as a high-upside interior defender with excellent pass-rushing potential.

Kenyan has had a big senior season for the Bulldogs, and he’s realized the potential we’ve seen in him the last two years. Kenyan plays with nice power to defeat blocks, but he has shown he can with speed with an excellent first step at the line of scrimmage as well. He’s a player that college coaches will watch closely in this game for sure.

In terms of a strength-speed profile, it doesn’t get much better than Stewart. And since transferring to Butler, he’s been unblockable. We’ve seen him walk back interior linemen with pure power and get around the edge with pure speed. He’s raw, but he’s already grown in the first half of the season. He may not be done moving up our rankings because the season he’s putting together is quite impressive.

Kenyan, I thought, did a good job of playing his responsibilities on both sides of the ball in this one. Defensively, they were facing a much different scheme than they possibly anticipated coming into the game, so after making some halftime adjustments, they were able to shut the Trojans out in the 2nd half. Kenyan also played some offense as an H-Back, and I thought he had some nice blocks in those offensive sets.

Stewart was a constant presence in the backfield, wreaking havoc from the opening whistle. At 6’4” and over 250 pounds, he combines size with an impressive motor. His skill set projects well as either a polished edge rusher or, with added bulk, an interior defensive force at the next level. Stewart’s three sacks made him the most dominant defensive player at the Jamboree.

Another strong performance from a versatile defensive lineman who has been a top performer at previous CFI showcases. Kenyan showed some really good pass rush moves throughout the 1 on 1 period against offensive linemen. On film, Kenyan has shown the ability to slow the running game down as well with penetration in the backfield and disrupting gaps with consistency. It’s only a matter of time before a college gives him an opportunity with an offer.
