Always an undersized, but productive, interior defender, Perry put in a ton of work in the offseason prior to his senior year and went from about 270 pounds to nearly 300. He didn’t rack up the same statistics while playing a newer nose tackle role, but colleges noticed the changes and he’s recently earned a string of late-season offers. He’s still uncommitted, and his work rate and strength will excite his future coaches.

Perry has room to grow as a pass-rusher, but he possesses the quickness to shoot gaps and blow plays up in the running game. Though he’s not the biggest interior defensive lineman, he’s good at eating up space and opening up things for his teammates. He’s a guy we like a lot and I think he could take a step forward as a senior.

Perry isn’t the biggest interior lineman you’ll find, but he has good quickness and plenty of strength to stand up against double teams. He’s really hard to move off of his spot and he’s able to use his straight lin speed to chase quarterbacks who break the pocket. His stats aren’t gaudy, but he does a ton of the dirty work and will be solid college contributor and teammate.
