Brainerd was well represented on Sunday the 14th by [player_tooltip player_id='1654786' first='Malik' last='Lauer'], the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase's closest thing to a freshman phenom. A dynamic, athletic, competitive presence through all three phases of the Stock Up Showcase, Lauer put on an absolute clinic during 1v1s, but the base of his success was spotlighted during the testing and combine portion of the event. One of the top testers of the over 250+ strong showcase, Lauer went 4.75 and 4.78 in the shuttle, 4.35 and 4.38 in the shuttle, 9'5 and 9'2 in the broad jump, and 7.03 in the L-drill, all combining for a well-rounded blend of athleticism that is already well established on the D1-worthy track. Plus, Lauer sure knew how to apply to competitive settings, as he came alive during 1v1s and proved himself as one of the most dangerous receivers in attendance rep after rep. Highlight reel-worthy catches seemed to be the norm with the Brainerd product, and his ability to track and play the deep ball, as well as burst and explosive acceleration out of his breaks, were especially lethal in 1v1 settings. Lauer had a strong route running game, did a good job of working himself into WR blind stops, and showed little wasted movement when changing direction. Get to know the name now, I don't see Lauer leaving the upper echelons of the 2029 rankings for the entirety of his career.

Fargo South is currently one of the more underrated programs in the Upper Midwest in terms of athletic talent, and this is my third or fourth exposure point to the program and it's prospects since the summer, and each and every time I come away with a new name I am very impressed with. Enter sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1757131' first='Jaxon' last='Lewis'], your 2025 PRZMN Stock Up Showcase WR MVP! Lewis, who made the drive down I94W absolutely came alive during 1v1 competition, blowing away the college coaches who were in attendance to both coach and scout the event for a variety of impressive reasons. First off, Lewis' energy and competitiveness stood out amongst his peers, as the young North Dakota product was noticeably juiced to be in the building and was owning the moment, building more and more intensity rep to rep and win after win at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome. Plus, he had a lot to be juiced about, as I don't think he lost a rep all day. Multiple times I heard the WR coaches proclaiming "that was the best route of the day" after Lewis - bib #152 - successfully completed a rep, and he may have been the most fluid and most twitchy route runner of the day. DBs were on their heels every step of the route when covering the Fargo South sophomore, but the acceleration, bouncy ball skills, aforementioned twitch - which was also backed up by his shuttle and L-drill numbers - strength and physicality through the press, and length were a nearly unstoppable combination, as well as a fun watch, for the skyrocketing Fargo sophomore. Get to know the name now!

[player_tooltip player_id='1691430' first='Kormick' last='Smith'] (New Prague) 2027. Tight End. 6'3, 246 lbs. 6'3" wing, 9" hands.

D1 college coaches: check out this first part. At a now-verified 6'3, 246 pounds, New Prague's 2027 TE [player_tooltip player_id='1691430' first='Kormick' last='Smith'] went 4.6 and 4.66 in the 40 (!), 4.76 in the shuttle, 9'3" and 9' in the broad, and 7.4 in the L-drill, excitingly showcasing the athleticism and dynamic ability he shows from his 2025 tape. One of the top new names and breakout star recruits of the 2025 season in Minnesota, New Prague's [player_tooltip player_id='1691430' first='Kormick' last='Smith'] can now add PRZMN Showcase Top Performer to his growing list of accolades. A lean 246 pounds who was an obvious eye catcher out of the big-bodied TE group at the Stock Up Showcase, Smith was raw as a pass catcher, but he sure could reel in contested catches and was a monster through the press and at the catch point, strong traits when projecting to potential run-heavy collegiate personnel packages. The ability and potential as a pass catcher were staring at your in the face. Hope to see Smith on the offseason and summer camp trail in the all-important junior year offseason.

I think we have one of the state's top 2029 skill position prospects has revealed himself, folks! Meet Armstrong Falcons freshman Kyson Wanjara, who walked up to the event the day of and blew the water out of all three portions of Session II. At a legit 6'1, 170+, Wanjara went 4.88 and 4.91 in the 40, 4. 60 in the shuttle 9'2 x2 in the broad, and 7.19 in the L-drill for some some of the best verified testing numbers in the PRZMN 2029 player database so far! Not only that, Wanjara was impressively nimble and twitchy as a route runner, with the ability to change tempos with effectiveness and some especially gnarly releases that had DB's heads spinning. Can't wait to get this freshman on the 2029 Big Board; expect a big debut.

Liam McNally (Wayzata) 2029. 5'9, 148 lbs.

Another mysterious and last-minute walk up at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase, Wayzata'a Liam McNally also happened to blow the roof off the event thanks to a fantastic performance in all three phases of the Showcase. With a new-look Trojans football season set firmly on the upcoming horizon, the young Wayzata WR hopeful popped off a 4.63 and 4.87 40, 4.34 shuttle, 9'5 and 9'2 broad, and 6.99 L-drill for an eye-catching display of athleticism to open the event off, and yes, before you ask, the young man did translate it to 1v1s. A violent route runner with a ton of acceleration out of his breaks and a competitiveness and effectiveness that mirrored more upperclassman than first year high schooler, it's hard not to think about the Wayzata WR and skill positions that the Trojans are so usually deep on. For my first exposure to the kid, the game lived up the hype, and you should expect another top-tier debut out of this young Wayzata product. Big things coming here.

One of the biggest names I want you readers to take away from this PRZMN special, I think we have 2028's TE1 and a future D1 signee out of Watertown-Mayer! Meet [player_tooltip player_id='2078949' first='Sam' last='Plahn'], the owner of some fantastic sophomore tape that etched itself in PRZMN's memory as one of the biggest winners, best new names, and most exciting sophomores from the 2025 season in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Although he measured in lighter than reported, Plahn owns a great frame for a sophomore, coming in at 6'3 1/2 and 200 pounds but rocking an eye-catching 6'5" wingspan, big hands, and a ton of room to grow and fill in. In addition to the build, Plahn blew the roof off testing, going 4.7 and 4.8 in the 40, 7.47 in the L-drill, and 9'5 + 9'3 in the broad jump to put some serious athleticism on the table and into his verified resume. Gotta love when the athleticism matches the tape, and Plahn also flashed some impressive reps at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome, winning contested catches, using his length at the catch point, getting in and out of his breaks fluidly, and winning vertically. Buy stock now!

It was a great day to be a Southwest Laker! As a proud Minneapolis Southwest alum ('13), PRZMN was stoked to have not one, but two wideouts named to the Best of Best top performer selections, spearheaded by the verified 6'4" mismatch nightmare and seemingly-unbeatable rising senior WR [player_tooltip player_id='1538019' first='Owen' last='Boarman']. I've seen Boarman do his thing both padded and unpadded with the Lakers, and he's a determined & hard working prospect who improves and builds on his speed, route running, and natural playmaking ability every time I get eyes on him in person. Things all came together in spectacular fashion at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome on the 14th, where the rising senior proved himself to be one of the best route runners in attendance, as well as one of the showcase's biggest mismatches, not to mention the seemingly most sure-handed pass catcher. Underneath these broad, complimentary strokes of Boarman's game lies a foundation of quickness, nimble feet, intimidating length, and ball skills, which allowed him to consistently get open at the line of scrimmage and/or top of the route, stack the defensive back, and then catch any and every throw that came his way. An easy selection for Best on Best reps to conclude the camp, I was a proud alum watching the rising senior Laker put on a show at the PrepRedzoneMN Showcase. NSICs: be on notice!

A brand new name to the PRZMN radar, Providence Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='1738277' first='Zachary' last='Roles'] burst onto the scene in big-time fashion, proving himself as an easy selection for Top Performer status from the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase. You'll see this dude highly-rated on the upcoming All-Testing Team, as he popped ooff two 4.7 40s, two 4.5 shuttles, a 9'8" and 9'7" broad, and a 7.03 and 7.06 L-drill to really highlight some top-tier athleticism for a sophomore. Additionally, his footwork and burst at the LOS was as impossible to miss, and his overall twitch was outstanding. Roles was making DBs look silly out there, especially when they attempted to press the sophomore wideout. Their mistake! Can't wait to get this dude on the 2028 Big Board ASAP.

Every offseason, PRZMN makes sure to carve out some time to put together a special feature highlighting some of the upcoming "JV Players to Know" and "JV Most Likely to Breakout" type of athletes around the Land of 10,000 Lakes. In the 2026 version of this special, you'll no doubt be seeing Blaine's [player_tooltip player_id='1557097' first='Jadyn' last='Poe'] near the top of the pile. Don't knock the size, this kid can play, and he tested well at the Stock Up Showcase to boot. 4.75 in the 40 and 9'2 and 9'1 in the broad jump are very exciting data points for a 2028er, and the kid backed up on the field in 2025, posting 23 catches for 773 yards and 7 TDs in the non-varsity ranks of the Bengals, setting up what was a prolific showing during 1v1s at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase. Smooth, concise, yet explosive and sudden cuts at the LOS and top of the route had DBs absolutely guessing, and Poe was blazing by defenders before they had a chance to even get a hand on in press-man. Love the suddenness and burst at his size, and the underclassman had a strong day against varsity experienced competition at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome.

Another Minneapolis Southwest Laker wide receiver, another Top Performer selection and performance. Rising senior [player_tooltip player_id='1120562' first='Lincoln' last='Ribnick'] is a seasoned padded and unpadded route runner who always seems to catch my eyes during 11on11, 7v7, or 1v1 competition. Ribnick popped off an excellent performance in Brooklyn Park, highlighted by a flat-out jaw-dropping reception that he literally tracked and pinned to the DB's back in highlight-reel-worthy fashion, and his ability to separate and win on seemingly every route on the route tree did not go unnoticed by PRZMN. Nuanced route runner, quick at the LOS and top of the route with some especially nasty releases, and highly competitive, I like Ribnick's physical and mental makeup as he projects to the next level.

Does the name sound familiar? Champlin Park's [player_tooltip player_id='1716629' first='Amir' last='Rogers'] had arguably the best overall performance of any prospect from the 2025 PRZMN Stock Up Showcase, earning Top Performer nods in BOTH sessions of the event. The only recruit to hold this lofty distinction, the plot only sweetens when you remember that Rogers is but a freshman, and if the two session performance shoutout doesn't do it justice, the kid is a good football player. Long and lean, Rogers really caught my attention as a route runner, where he fluidly and suddenly got in and out of his breaks and changed direction, and he had a knack for finding and forcing DB's blindspots and creating separation. Soft hands and an overall smooth demeanor didn't hurt as well, and after chatting with the young man after Session 1's conclusion he was a polite, respectful, and extroverted first year high schooler who made sure to introduce himself and put a face to the name. Well, the name is certainly sticking for many reasons, and I'd expect this kid to make a heckuva debut on the upcoming 2029 rankings update next month. Name to know!
