I am not sure how much more I need to bark to get [player_tooltip player_id='1568610' first='Easton' last='Simon'] of New Rockford-Sheyenne more next-level attention, but I will keep doing it as he is a steady stockriser up our 2026 North Dakota rankings. He moved up muliple QB spots up to our QB2 in the class and in the live eval, dominated again in the 9-man state championsihp game. He has effortless poise inside the pocket and in my eyes, has some of the best pocket presence amongst quarterbacks still available in the Dakotas. He can make all the throws on all three levels and has a pure balance across any of the throws he makes. He holds NAIA offers, but man I would be remissed if I didn't feel Easton wasn't a D2 talent at a minimum.

Not just a stockriser in this 2026 class, Carson is also a newcomer in this class out of Bottineau as an EDGE rusher that impressed me in the live eval during the 11A state championship game in Fargo. He led the Braves in tackles during that game as well and watching his senior tape tells me why he has started to get more next-level attention. He comes in as my EDGE1 which although is a new position within our pos. groups Carson lives up to hype with his progressive pass-rush moves and high burn rate when it comes to his suddeness coming off the edge. He is one that when he makes contact on the ball carrier he does so with some knock back. Two NSIC offers have come Carson's way since that state championship game as there's a great amount of frame you can still grow on this kid in a college strength program.

Brooklan is another stockriser that I had within this top 50 group that I thought improved significantly on both sides of the ball out this 2026 class. Where the improvement is shown quckly for me with Brooklan is as a route-runner as he added in his senior season much improved change of direction especially when he was on intermediate routes. The now 6'0 180 pounder from Grand Forks Central also possesses a longer catch radius than you might expect as it doesn't take long to see all the athleticism Brooklan has once he gets into the open field. He also is well-versed getting around the edges and creating with his hands in small spaces. Surely a great eval by the Jamestown staff, who is the only D2 school to get Brooklan an offer thus far.

Blake is another way too under the radar trench monster on our 2026 North Dakota rankings that saw him go up 20+ spots from our last 2026 update. He has surely grown the most in his senior season with his hand placement and outstanding driving leverage which constantly appears overwhelming for defensive linemen to go up against in his first look on tape. The 6'0 265 pounder has really improved with his violence level as well with his hands as Blake and has to have some of the most violent hands of OL propsects that are uncommitted left in North Dakota. Can't believe he just has one D2 offer at the moment on what is a stacked group of offensive linement from Fargo Davies.

An athlete that created a significant edge forward in his live eval during the 11AA state championship game was Minot North's [player_tooltip player_id='929929' first='Christian' last='Deadmond']. In fact, I felt Christian was easily the Sentinels best athlete on both sides of the ball as Christian's next level position projection looks like an ideal fit at EDGE linebacker due to his instinctive vision he offers stopping the run and getting to the quarterback with his sound pursuit angles for the 6'3 220 pounder. He certainly is one of my favorite 2026 prospects that is still available out of Minot North.
