of New Rockford-Sheyenne more next-level attention, but I will keep doing it as he is a steady stockriser up our 2026 North Dakota rankings. He moved up muliple QB spots up to our QB2 in the class and in the live eval, dominated again in the 9-man state championsihp game. He has effortless poise inside the pocket and in my eyes, has some of the best pocket presence amongst quarterbacks still available in the Dakotas. He can make all the throws on all three levels and has a pure balance across any of the throws he makes. He holds NAIA offers, but man I would be remissed if I didn’t feel Easton wasn’t a D2 talent at a minimum.

Another one of our “best for last” gunslingers at Dakota Bowl XXXIII was

of New Rockford-Sheyenne-Maddock as him and the Rockets took home the 9-man title now back to back. We had expected a big-time game from Easton ahead of the 9-man Friday morning championship, and he certainly delivered. He had 405 passing yards on four touchdowns which I would easily assume were the top stat-stuffers amongst the quarterback position out of the eight quarterbacks we have on this list. I have said it muliple times, that Easton has the best pocket poise in the state and that was evident watching him on Friday morning. He also I felt had grew from a year ago with how well he could buy time while getting out of the pocket to throw, as there was more athleticism I felt this time around from Easton in that skillset. I did find out that this young man does have at least an offer to play QB next-year (which I was ecstatic to hear) but holy cow does this young man need more looks in my eyes. TWITTER

Sleepers, hidden gems, whatever term you want to use we talk about them all the time at PRZ, and there isn’t a bigger either one of those in this grouping of prospects than New Rockford-Sheyenne 2026 quarterback

in my book. The 6’0 180 pounder, can sling it on all three levels and is one of the most poised quarterbacks that is still uncommitted in this class inside the pocket. He also has a great football IQ that it’s clear he understands how to utilize his arm strength to make the proper throw with the right timing. No reported offers yet, which I know i said it a good chunk, but that REALLY shocks me.

One of a few quarterbacks in this 2026 class that surprise me how under the radar they are this deep into October is New Rockford-Sheyenne gunslinger

who has the best deep ball arm and best touch I have seen in this 2026 class as he’s surely rose the stock on tape in his senior season for the Rockets. He’s also gotten more efficent with his ball placement, which after logging nearly 60 touchdowns last year it’s clear the upside meter has continued to grow for Easton. The 6’0 180 pounder. You can bet Easton and the Rockets are my favorites to win the 9B state championship as this team has logged not one but two games this year where they have scored 80 points and three games with 70+ which is absurd. With a 4.0 GPA and no offers, I don’t get where the hangup is on college coaches not recruiting this young man more actively Small town hidden gem for sure.

Simon and the Rockets are undefeated and ranked #1 in 9-Man. Easton is putting up insane numbers at QB. He has thrown for 1,400 yards, 18 TOUCHDOWNS, 0 INT’s, and has an astonishing 85 completion percentage! In basketball, Simon is an outstanding PG. I think he is ready to be an All-State baller and he will get the Rockets back to the State B.

of New Rockford-Sheyenne. The 6’0 175 pounder had a quiet summer camp season, but showed off his best last fall leading the Rockets to the 9-man state championship which was the game that got him fully on our board. 52 touchdown passes and a 74% completion percentage are going to be tough numbers to top, but the attention to detail Easton has shows off quickly on tape in a couple of his skillsets tell me that this young man could be working in silence this offseason. I love his quick release and on point timing going into his senior season as a gunslinger that can sling it on all three levels. Super impressed there’s no offers yet for Easton. Twitter

Easton was a 2026 hidden gem that I learned about from watching the 9-man state championship game as our new QB4 in our North Dakota rankings. The 6’0 175 pounder showed off excellent poise for the entirety of the game I watched and was one of the once balanced ball-throwers I witnessed in general amongst all the quarterbacks in the FargoDome at the state championships several weeks back. His efficency on tape throwing in tight windows also is intriguing as a QB prospect that could make a splash at camps this summer. Twitter
