A breakout running back to know in Peach County, Barton is a do-it-all running back who rushed for an eye-opening 1,523 yards and an incredible 21 touchdowns. A versatile back who can also help in the passing game, the speedy, shifty Middle Georgia back also hauled in 14 passes for 246 yards and four touchdowns. He's a big-play machine who should definitely see some D1 offers come his way this winter. He's one of the top 2026 backs in the area and is now one of the best in the state. Not only was he added to the latest rankings, but he's now ranked as the No. 9 running back prospect in the state for his class.

Another small-town back in Middle Georgia who ran wild this past season, Knight was one of the more productive backs across the state this past season in the 2027 class. He runs with authority but still has enough speed to score from anywhere on the field. He showed easy Power Four potential after running for an impressive 1,566 yards and 23 touchdowns. He ran for at least 100 yards in nine of his ten games and rushed for a touchdown in every game. He's a scoring machine who was an easy addition to the latest update. Now he's ranked as the No. 10 RB prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

A tough runner with deceptive speed from the small town of Guyton, White plays out of Effinghman County and showed he has enough talent to put the offense on his back if called upon. He runs hard but also shows quick feet and the ability to break off a long run. He was a consistent runner all season long as he took off for over 1,000 yards this fall, rushing for five touchdowns and hitting the 100-yard mark five times. He brings good size already and should load up the stat sheet even more as a senior next fall. He's now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 32 RB prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class.

Another Middle Georgia back who really shined this fall as a junior, Ross is a bigger, heavier back who can power through defenders and pick up big yards after initial contact. He runs behind his pads, keeps his legs moving, and is great in short-yardage situations. He was incredibly productive this year and showed he's easily one of the top 2027 running backs in the area. He ran wild this fall for just under 1,500 yards and ran for 15 touchdowns. He's one of the best tackle-breaking backs in the region bound for an even bigger season in 2026. After a strong regular season, Ross has now been added to the latest update and is now ranked as the No. 32 running back prospect in the state.

One of the top 2027 running backs in Savannah, Kinlaw is a big, punishing back who can also catch passes out of the backfield. He brings a lot of versatility for someone his size, and even though he only played in the first eight games, he showed enough on tape to be included in the latest 2027 Prep Redzone rankings. The big, tackle-breaking back stands at 6-foot-2 215-pounds and ran for an impressive 847 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging over 100 yards per game and 6.3 yards per carry. He also caught 24 passes for 238 yards and two more scores. He's now ranked as the No. 35 overall running back prospect in the state.
