Berger had a nose for the endzone in the final 4 game against Palisade. The 6'2 190-pound running back had 12 carries for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns with 4 total tackles. Berger has good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. He's a bruising running back that thrives with contact. Very good vision and inside running. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the hole, or will use his jump cut to pivot into an open gap if one's covered. Berger gains yards after contact by bouncing off defenders, or they'll slide off him. He also will put his shoulder down and truck to create contact. I'm very excited to see how he does in the 3A state championship game !

The Wazzu commit carried his team to a victory. 19 carries for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns with 3 receptions for 24 yards. He has elite athletic ability due to elite speed, acceleration, very good balance, and change of direction. Explosive start at the line of scrimmage. Very good vision to identify gap to run through. Kalsbeck will explode into the gap, and burst into the 2nd level of the defense instantly. Very good inside running. Very good outside running. He turns the corner and can use his home run speed to house it. Kalsbeck consistently gets yards after contact due to his strength and balance. He'll truck through the defenders, or use a powerful stiff arm to keep the defender at bay. Kalsbeck is a beast, and will look to continue dominating in the 3A championship game.

The 6'1 170-pound receiver had 5 receptions for 135 yards in the win over Montrose. Newman uses his very good athletic ability to dominate the gridiron all night long. He has very good speed, acceleration, change of direction, and jumping. Newman used his very quick feet and very good release to gain the upper hand at the line of scrimmage. He'd burst into his routes with very good separation quickness and fluid route running skills. Good ball tracking with very good catching. Strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air. Very good body control and adjustment skills. He adjusts to the ball in flight. After the catch, he uses his home run ability to break free. He was a consistent target for his QB, and showed why he's a dominant wide receiver.

Rillos had 11 carries for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 1 reception for 6 yards. He has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good balance, speed, jumping, and change of direction. One thing of note is his stamina to finish runs. He bounces around between receiver, running back, and safety. In the backfield, he uses his explosive quick start and very good vision to weave through the defense. He bounces off tacklers or spins around them for extra yards. As a receiver, he has very good release. Smooth route running skills paired with very good separation quickness. He's great on contested catches as well. This junior is a phenomenal athlete and continues to put up stats each game.

Reese threw for 19/27 for 232 yards, 70.4% completion rate, 2 TDs, and 1 INT in the loss to Ralston Valley. He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and balance. Reese has very good throw power and a quick release. He is a gunslinger who goes through his progressions to find the open man. Reese has very good throw on the run and stays very poised under duress. Snappy hips while rolling out left. Very good off-platform throws. Very good pocket presence, using his quick feet to avoid sacks. Very good scramble ability. If no one's open, he'll beat the defense with his feet. He has very good ball placement skills and touch. Reese has very good accuracy at all three levels, however he throws a beautiful deep ball. Reese burst onto the scene with his first season starting, and showed why he's apart of the upper echelon of Colorado quarterbacks with a bright future.
