Another new name that caught the attention in the North Dakota 2029 class from the Grind 701 Elite tryouts was Christian Nahanie out of Fargo Davies in my eyes. Christian might not be the biggest wide receiver there was in that 2029 class, but man I was intrigued by the length of his strides he had built in with his route-running. He also showed off persistence with his route-tree and had the balance between short, intermediate, and deep routes to work the defensive backs at plenty of different angles and appeared to be instinctive with his hands when the ball came his way. He is a 2029 WR that has solid upside to grow over the coming years.

One of a few Fargo Davies quarterbacks that caught our attention on Sunday night in Fargo, was [player_tooltip player_id='1975021' first='Tucker' last='Kosen'] which I was impressed he is just a 2028 gunslinger based on some of the throws he was able to make on all three levels. In my eyes, he had not only one of the deepest arm strengths I saw within the group but the accuracy on those three levels seems to just about always be on point. Another skillset that I liked about Tucker throwing from the pocket, was the poise this young man had for his age. Glad to see that he is in our 2028 prospect database for North Dakota, as he surely could be one of the better quarterbacks in the class at this point based on what I saw in the live eval.

One of the more twitchy wide receivers that was in attendance that caught my eyes on muliple reps came from the Outstate Minnesota region, which was [player_tooltip player_id='1120506' first='Adam' last='Kobetsky'] of Fertile-Beltrami. His agility with his change of direction from start to finish as a route-runner was on point in the reps I watched and appeared to me as one of the more agile 2027s that I found in the group at the 18U tryout. He also was polished with his hands, as I don't recall Adam missing one ball that came his way as he also brought solid instincts as a route-runner in my eyes. The vision he shows on his junior tape provides position flexibility which is a good sign heading into his senior season.

One of the few ranked prospects I had my eyes on Sunday night was Fargo Shanley 2029 quarterback Nichiolas Hawkins. Our QB3 in our ND 2029 rankings, looked the part from the arm talent I got to watch in the live eval. Nicholas showed off great accuracy on short and intermediate throws I was able to watch late in the tryout session, as he allowed his wide receivers to advance upfield quickly. The best skillset I saw live and in-person from Nichiolas, showed off with his poise as I feel as a 2029 prospect, he was well-above his class when it came to how dialed in he was inside the pocket.

Easily the top 2026 quarterback is attendance that is still uncommitted at the moment on Sunday night in Fargo, was [player_tooltip player_id='1113087' first='Xavier' last='Muse'] of Fargo Davies. You could really tell the arm talent that doesn't get seen a lot in his HS offense come to fruitition in the reps I was able to watch. I was intrigued by the arm strength that Xavier has at his disposal as he provided assurance with his pass-catchers that the ball would come to their hands with some sting power to it which was seen on short and intermediate routes persistently at Sunday night's 7v7 tryout as the precision was also solid in the reps I watched. He just locked in his first JUCO offer last week as the 6'2 225 pounder is one that impresses me with the upside he could grow over the coming years.
