Dakotas National Signing Day Tracker

We put a wrap on National Signing Day content across the Dakotas and took a look across the board at who signed where, where we had them ranked, where we had them rated positionally, and more.   By the Numbers   South Dakota   The Mount Rushmore State led the way between the Dakotas with 9 signings on National Signing Day. South Dakota also led the way with Power Four signings with 2 and Group of Five signings with 1.   North Dakota   The Roughrider State was only two signings between South Dakota this year, which is a closer margin than past years, with 7 signings. North Dakota did not have any FBS signings this year on National Signing Day as, all seven signed at the FCS level.   Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase Alums   It was our biggest class to date on National Signing Day for Division 1 prospects that have attended a Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. We had four signings that were in attendance at least one Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase including one FBS signing which was [player_tooltip player_id='394729' first='Hudson' last='Parliament'] who is heading to the Hawkeyes. The school leading the pack? South Dakota State had two, in [player_tooltip player_id='902661' first='Brady' last='Schroedermeier'] and [player_tooltip player_id='848975' first='Shane' last='Veenhof'].   Division I FBS (3)   Big Ten (2)   Iowa (1)   [player_tooltip player_id='394729' first='Hudson' last='Parliament'], OL, Brandon Valley   -Our consesus #1 overall prospect in South Dakota and the entire Dakotas from his freshmen year to the present signed with the University of Iowa today. Cash just flipped his commitment to his dream school, North Dakota State from St. Thomas (MN) a couple weeks ago already. The Bison get a young man that has all the position flexibility you want, as our orginal rating had Cash as a tight end which the Bison have moved forward on as his main position at the next-level. Jason was one of my top summer stockrisers that is about to get one of the bigger bumps in the rankings within the Top 15. Marial was my WR3 in this North Dakota class, but my placement this month will bump him up at least one or two spots in that WR group. Marial has a high room of upside that Fighting Hawks fans should like how he produces in the coming years.   Jake Starcevic, LB, Kindred/Army   Our top athlete in the North Dakota 2025 class has transferred from Army to North Dakota, as Jake Starevic was apart of the Fighting Hawks National Signing Day class. The 6'2 255 now linebacker has certainily filled out substancial frame since his high school years and should be one to watch in the coming years in Grand Forks.   [player_tooltip player_id='1112591' first='Aiden' last='Wunderlich'], OL, Central Cass   -Our current #1 overall prospect in the Norht Dakota 2026 class, [player_tooltip player_id='1112591' first='Aiden' last='Wunderlich'] of Central Cass committed to the Fighting Hawks a while ago already, and is a member of NSD26. Another Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum, in which his live eval assured why he would become my #1 overall prospect for the last two years in this 2026 ND class.   Lindenwood, MO (1)   [player_tooltip player_id='1406689' first='Chase' last='DeBoer'], DE, Tea Area   Chase was the one interesting National Signing Day signings in this 2026 class in the Dakotas. He picked up two D1 offers (one being Lindenwood) last summer, but we never saw a commitment graphic from Chase come thru until we scanned thru the Dakotas for signing day this morning.
