South Dakota 11A Hog Mollies to Know ASAP

We take a look tonight at five hog mollies that really make 11A an impressive one in the offensive trenches.    Ian came away as one of my offensive linemen top performers at this winter's Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, as he flashed on numerous live reps I got to watch. The 6'0 260 pounder from Belle Fourche, was proficent off the jump with his balanced footwork as I was impressed with how smooth Ian was in pass protection. He also displayed quick firing hands that showed off consistency with his pad-level. He surely is a West River hog molly I will be watching closely this summer again at camps and into the 2026 season for the Broncs.     Seth might have missed most of junior season at Dakota Valley, however this young man is one my biggest jumpers you will see in this 2027 class in our upcoming rankings update in South Dakota. The 6'4 270 pounder, is one of the best two-way trench monsters South Dakota has to offer and shows off a offensive tackle that is a pure finisher at the point of attack who usually ends up with his defender on the turf. He has great foot speed and agility for his size and has great pinning hands that doesn't allow much to contention from the defensive line to happen. Surely going to be a top five prospect in state.     Ashten is another top-tier graded offensive linemen we have in this South Dakota 2027 class that has a constant monsterous punch at the point of attack that oozes with physicality at the right guard position. It doesn't take long to see on tape that Ashten has the sound football IQ that can multi-engage that shows off more sudden footwork that has grown since he was at our Dakotas Showcase already a year ago. He is nasty from a punch perspetive that can drive his defender on his rear end quickly. Surely a scholarship-level grade in my eyes that currently sits in our top 10 overall in this 2027 class, as that should stick with this upcoming update.     You can assure that when Andersen gets his hands quickly on his defender, that he is going to overpower them with sound leverage at the point of attack. The now 6'7 300 pounder, has hit a growth spurt since our last update. He was overpowering in the tape reps he showed off in his junior season in pass-protection which surely grew a ton from his sophomore to junior season with the Chargers. He just picked up his first offer the other day on his junior day at Augustana, and I can assure he will have plenty more coming on his recruitng trail in the upcoming 6 plus months as one that I feel could catch plenty of attention from the D1 level as he comes from a D1 family that played in the Missouri Valley.     One of the biggest jumpers you will see upcoming in this 2027 South Dakota update will come from Dell Rapids offensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1273539' first='Beckett' last='Nelson']. The 6'5 275 pounder for the Quarriers, is more fiery with his agility and foot speed out of his stance than you would expect at that size as he jumped off quickly in the most recent eval I got when going thru our 2027 rankings. He also is a offensive guard that is another sure finisher out of this list from tonight at the point of attack. He has a good amount of D2 and NAIA interest, but man I think I would give Beckett a D1 grade out of this stacked OL class South Dakota has.
