One of the biggest rankings risers into our top 10 is Brookings linebacker Bergan Tetzlaff Bergan Tetzlaff Bergan Tetzlaff 6'4" | 225 lbs | LB Brookings | 2026 State SD . The fluidity Bergan shows off for 6’4 225 pounds getting to the ball either outside or the inside box shows off light hands with his sheds but constant quick leverage and downhill pentration when he connects with the ball carrier. He also intrigues me with the balance he constantly plays with his footwork as Bergan is another that I certainly have a Division I grade and one that would be a great one right up the road for the Jackrabbits in my eyes. I am highly intrigued with this Brookings Bobcats 2026 class especially 6’4 220 pound linebacker Bergan Tetzlaff Bergan Tetzlaff Bergan Tetzlaff 6'4" | 225 lbs | LB Brookings | 2026 State SD . His first look shows off instinctive yet smooth football IQ of him in pass coverage as his positioning couldn’t be more sound as I always like pass coverage on a first look from from a Dakotas linebacker as it’s not always common especially with linebackers of Bergan’s size. He shows off great efficency with his shedding hands with his great vision to the ball as a sideline to sideline linebacker in my eyes. Probably the most exciting newcomer amongst linebackers I have graded in the Dakotas, as there certainly is a ceiling with a knock-back middle linebacker.
