Gavin from these eyes has escalated his game since my last live eval and the tape shows it off quickly. The tight window throws that he can make in a pinch with a quick release tells the tale early on tape as a rising 2026 quarterback for the Brookings Bobcats. If you are looking for a quarterback for the next-level that displays plenty of balance with his throws inside and outside of the pocket, Gavin surely should fit the bill of what college coaches are looking for. The poise Gavin has as a dual threat quarterback is also developing nicely, as one I hope to see how well-versed he looks during camps with his off-platform throws this summer.

I will admit from the getco that Gavin should and will be moving up our 2026 rankings by next update. The quick growth I saw from Gavin at the Dakota State prospect camp this summer was enlightening to watch as I felt he did a great job of taking the coaching from the Trojans staff and putting it in play quickly. Gavin has improved since summer with his touch throws especially when you watch him on intermediate routes. Gavin this season has also taken his football IQ up some notches as Gavin intrigues me with his elusiveness outside of the pocket as I feel he has grown in that department too thus far this season.
