When he gets out of his stance, he generates solid power quickly and enough to suddenly with good pad-level get his punch downhill at to the point of attack. He's a bully of a pull blocker that has gotten quick with getting his hands level with his first step. The 6'1 220 pounder is great at penetrating thru contact to get down to the ball carrier in the backfield as another prospect that carries the high motor that is a must have at that position. What impresses me the most about Xander, is the consistent power he has thru high-traffic areas to get to the point of attack as he seems to find a way to get plenty of tackles for a loss.
