With the Elite All-State Team taken care of, we'll spend the month of December handing out Class All-State awards. Now, we move to the offensive side of the ball in 8-Man.

In writing these articles, we want to cast a wider net, expanding on the names that have already been established as the best of the best across classes, so we won't repeat names that were already listed on the Elite Team.

QUARTERBACK

[player_tooltip player_id='1197463' first='Nolan' last='Kriegel'], JR, Iowa Valley

The state leader all season in touchdowns with 61 total scores, Kriegel was an absolute beast on the field for Iowa Valley this season. The 2025 Breakout Player from Iowa, Kriegel made it look like a video game every time he stepped between the lines for the Tigers. Sure, he ran the ball more than he passed it, but the junior was so dominant from the QB position, he has to find himself in this spot. In total, Kriegel took 182 carries for 1,944 yards and a whopping 43 scores on the ground. Through the air, he completed 35-of-55 passes (63.6%) for 788 yards and 13 touchdowns and just one pick. Oh, and he caught three passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns, while returning an interception for a score and two kickoffs for touchdowns.

RUNNING BACKS

[player_tooltip player_id='1621106' first='Nathan' last='Moon'], JR, Clarksville

Second only to Kriegel in all classes in rushing touchdowns and second in all classes in rushing yards, Moon took 250 carries for 2,268 yards and 41 scores, averaging 9.1 yards per carry. He served as the go-to player offensively for Clarksville, 41 of his team's 57 offensive touchdowns this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2005136' first='Ethan' last='Marso'], SR, Bishop Garrigan

The leading rusher for the state champions, Marso made things go for Garrigan this fall. A monster in the backfield and in the middle of the Golden Bear defense, the 6-foot-2, 230 pound ball-carrier took 200 carries for 1,426 yards and 29 touchdowns this fall.

WIDE RECEIVERS

[player_tooltip player_id='1631355' first='Callen' last='Messerich'], SR, Easton Valley

With a hat tip to his quarterback, [player_tooltip player_id='1242285' first='Keagan' last='Lee'] who was one of the top passers in 8-Man, Messerich was his primary target through the air for one of the most electric passing offenses in the state. Messerich led 8-Man in receptions and yards this fall, while finishing second in touchdowns. He caught 85 passes for 1,328 yards and 21 scores, second to Elite Team receiver, [player_tooltip player_id='1197458' first='Landon' last='Blum'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1034037' first='Hudson' last='Clark'], SR, Gladbrook-Reinbeck

Another ridiculously productive wideout in 8-Man, Clark helped propel the Rebels to their second-straight appearance in the Dome, giving Woodbine a run for their money in the semifinals. A key cog in the machine that was the GR offense, Clark caught 62 passes for 899 yards and 18 touchdowns.

OFFENSIVE LINE

[player_tooltip player_id='1358967' first='Jax' last='Pryor'], SR, Woodbine

One of a multitude of Pryors that have made their mark on the Woodbine football program, Jax was critical in the run to the state championship appearance for the Tigers, paving the way upfront for breakout rushing performances for [player_tooltip player_id='1207821' first='Micah' last='Moores'] in Cedar Falls (48 carries for 208 yards and four touchdowns against Gladbrook-Reinbeck and Bishop Garrigan), and he kept [player_tooltip player_id='1242266' first='Brody' last='Pryor'] clean all season to lead the state in passing touchdowns with 38.

Carter Schwab, SR, Bishop Garrigan

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds on the front lines of the Garrigan offensive line, Schwab was one of the variety of huge individuals that would strike fear into opposing 8-Man squads before they even stepped on the field. He was one of the main reasons the Golden Bears led the state in rushing attempts (529), and tied for second in rushing yards (3,778) and rushing touchdowns (72).

Sullivan McClain, SR, Audubon

Who may have pushed their way to the top spot in the last statistical category, one may ask? McClain and Audubon, who finished first in all classes in rushing touchdowns with 78 scores on the ground (without a state championship appearance). Part of another elite 8-Man offense that featured sophomore sensation [player_tooltip player_id='2005055' first='Aiden' last='Kjergaard'], McLain's 6-foot-3 and 210-pound frame was critical in the Wheelers run to Cedar Falls.
