Moving around the formation, Messerich has a knack for finding holes in the defense. It can difficult judging route running in the eight-player game, but he’s adept at it, making it easy to project success in him doing it with 22 guys on the field. Dangerous in the open field, Messerich also is solidly built, which helps win contested balls and break tackles. He’s probably best suited for the slot and looks like an asset on special teams.
