is the type of running back that will run through someone’s face, given the opportunity. He had plenty of opportunities last fall.
Finishing the season with the second-most rushing scores in all classes (only behind Kriegel), and the second-most rushing yards in all classes, Moon was a force to be reckoned with — or avoided by tacklers — on the gridiron. One of the hardest running backs in the state, and especially in 8-Man, Moon is the type of ball-carrier that runs as hard as he can every single time he touches the rock. A “We really have to keep trying to tackle this guy?” kind of runner.
With an Energizer Bunny-like motor, Moon took 250 carries for 2,268 yards and 41 touchdowns on the ground, also tossing five touchdown passes from the QB position. On defense, he added 20.5 tackles and four TFLs, while returning five kicks for 87 yards and a score on special teams.

has made quite an ascent over the last two seasons and has made a clear case as one of the best ball-carriers in the 8-man league entering the 2026 season. Moon ran for 2268 yards (9.1 YPC) and 41 TDs last season. As the leading passer, Moon threw for 288 yards, 5 TDs, and 4 INTs, and adding an additional TD on a kick return. Watching him in the backfield and how he takes on defenders, Moon is certainly a physical mismatch against his fellow peers, being able to effortlessly shake off defenders and break away long runs, making him in many ways a one-man wrecking crew for Clarksville’s offense. Moon will remain to be a premier talent that will battle with our aforementioned prospects on this list toward being the scoring leader in the 8-man league next season.

of Clarksville has rushed for 15 touchdowns in the first four games of the season, the top mark for a running back in all classes.
As a ball-carrier, Moon seemingly bounces off tacklers like it’s nothing, keeping his legs chugging along for big carries when his team needs them. That, and when he takes a carry up the middle, he finds some way to break through all the chaos in the trenches and emerge on the other side for a big gain or a score. On 62 carries so far this season, he’s rushed for 777 yards.

ran for 1,723 yards and 26 touchdowns on 227 carries last fall for Clarksville. A running back and quarterback hybrid, Moon stands at 5’9″ and nearly 200 pounds. He is a big back, especially for the 8-man level.
Even if opposing teams crowd the box, Moon can bounce off and run through would-be tacklers with a strong lower half. With a mean stiff arm to boot, Moon isn’t ridiculously shifty, but he’ll run through your face and into the endzone.

Moon produced at a high level as a 10th-grader last season. He rushed for 1,723 yards and 26 touchdowns, adding three scoring passes. On defense, he contributed 19.0 tackles (13 solo) and he averaged 31.2 yards on six kick returns. On his sophomore highlight video, Moon looks dynamic with the ball in his hands. It’s an impressive combination of power and speed. While it’s often one cut and go, Moon has some wiggle to his game and sharp vision. A skill set that also works on defense, Moon has options when it comes to positions at the next level.
