AL Game of the Week: Clay Chalkville (14-0) Saraland (13-0)

Welcome back! We're previewing a HUGE rivalry matchup between Clay Chalkville (14-0) and Saraland (13-0)   Both these teams have STACKED rosters, so we're discussing who we think everyone should look out for this week.   As always, check out these prospects' film below! You won't want to miss out on this group.   Let's dive in:   <h1 class="wp-block-heading">OFFENSE</h1>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">CLAY CHALKVILLE</h2>    [player_tooltip player_id='1452292' first='Aaron' last='Frye'] has been on a dominant run this postseason, delivering impressive performances week after week.   “Frye is a talented passer who can make some seriously impressive throws all over the field. Frye has some great mechanics – he has great footwork, a natural throwing motion, and excellent timing with his wide receivers.   In addition to his arm talent, Frye can make huge plays with his legs. He has great mobility and can easily bail out of the pocket and find rushing lanes to move the chains.“   Frye has been terrific this season. Check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1226916' first='Joshua' last='Woods'] is an explosive RB who's found a ton of success on the ground this year.   "Woods is a dynamic back who plays with a ton of speed, quickness, and physicality. He has a terrific burst out of the backfield, top-end speed in the open field, and can break tackles/shed defenders with ease. Woods has a terrific vision- he does a great job seeing the field and consistently maximizes each carry.   One of the most impressive aspects of Woods' tape is his elusiveness. Woods has a wide variety of juke moves he uses to his advantage to cut up defenses and can consistently make defenders miss, no matter who he's playing against."   Woods has been on a really impressive stretch these last few weeks. Make sure you watch some of his film below:     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">SARALAND</h2>    [player_tooltip player_id='472861' first='Jamison' last='Roberts'] has been one of the breakout stars of the season, leading Saraland to an undefeated year and delivering some amazing performances in the process.   “Roberts has some serious arm talent and throws the ball really well- he has a quick release, plenty of arm strength, and the accuracy to hit his WRs anywhere on the field. Roberts can complete some seriously impressive throws- consistently fitting the ball into tight windows, making tough throws on the run, and taking the tops off of defenses with his ability to push the ball downfield.   Roberts is also really athletic and can make a lot happen with his legs. He's fantastic at avoiding pressure when the pocket collapses and uses his speed and mobility to outrun pass rushers, never putting drives in jeopardy.“   Roberts has been unstoppable this season, make sure you watch some of his film below:      Deshawn Spencer has been a do-it-all weapon for Saraland offense this season, creating huge explosives through the air and on the ground.   “Spencer has some fantastic speed and acceleration; he can easily outrun entire defenses and makes it look effortless. Paired with his speed, Spencer is extremely elusive- he frequently makes defenders miss in the open field and has a ton of different moves that allow him to break away for huge runs.   Spencer also plays with a lot of physicality- he doesn't shy away from contact, can withstand some big hits, and is a physical runner between the tackles.“   Spencer has had an unbelievable season this fall. Be sure to check out some of his film below, and later this week.     <h1 class="wp-block-heading">DEFENSE</h1>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">CLAY CHALKVILLE</h2>    [player_tooltip player_id='1700878' first='Colton' last='McIntyre'] has had a huge season in the trenches for Clay Chalkville, dominating opposing OLs all year long.   "McIntyre is explosive in the trenches. At 6'2 285, he has a unique blend of power, strength, and quickness that makes him a problem for opposing OL to deal with. McIntyre explodes out of his stance, plays with great leverage, and has dominant strength he uses to get into the backfield and create plays for loss.   It's impressive seeing how well-rounded McIntyre is already. He's an every-down threat against the run and pass who can make some really impressive plays in pursuit. It'll be exciting to watch him this fall."   McIntyre has been unstoppable upfront for his defense. Make sure you watch out for him this week, and his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1337992' first='Xavier' last='Starks'] has been an impressive sideline-to-sideline playmaker on Clay Chalkville's defense all year long.   Starks is a hybrid safety who can dominate opposing rushing and passing attacks in a ton of different ways. He's highly instinctual and can read and react to opposing offenses within seconds of the snap, consistently putting himself in great position to impact plays.   Starks is excellent out in coverage- he isn't easily baited by play fakes, doesn't let anyone behind him, and has the ball skills to consistently pick off and break up passes.. Starks is just as good at defending the run- he flies downhill, doesn't shy away from contact, and has great skills in pursuit and as a tackler.   Starks has put together some great tape this season, check it out below:     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">SARALAND</h2>    [player_tooltip player_id='2044862' first='Jakari' last='Harris'] is looking to repeat his standout performance of last week in this huge matchup against Clay Chalkville.   “You can tell right off the bat that Harris is a highly intelligent and instinctual defender on this Saraland defense. He reads and reacts to opposing offenses within milliseconds of the ball snapping, consistently flying to where the play is headed to disrupt and come up with stops.   Harris is a heat-seeking missile. He's highly athletic, can make sideline-to-sideline plays, and has the tackling skills to ensure the ball carrier won't gain any extra yards after he makes contact. Harris also has some impressive skills out in coverage and as a blitzer, making him an every-down threat to opposing offenses.“   Harris is coming off one of his best performances to date. I'm excited to see what he'll do this week.      [player_tooltip player_id='1634478' first='Keoni' last='Snipes'] is a dominant EDGE who's made his presence felt all year long on Saraland's defensive front.   “At 6'5 230, Snipes already has impressive size and athleticism that he uses to dominate the line of scrimmage. Snipes explodes off the snap and plays with great leverage, quickness, and pursuit to create huge stops all over the field- it's hard to believe he's only a freshman.   Snipes has already proven to be a dominant run defender. He's terrific at setting the edge and can fight off multiple blockers to get his hands on the ball carrier and create some impressive hustle plays all over the backfield.”   Snipes has had an impressive sophomore season, if you haven't watched him before, check out his film below:
