The 2025 season is in the books, our Showcase has come and gone, and now it is time to dive head first into the rankings update. There is going to be a ton of movement as kids broke out, showing huge leaps in improvement. We also are going to see so many new names and faces added into every Class. That has led to this series where we are going through looking at just a few of the athletes who will definitely debut well and shake up the current rankings order. Today's group of athletes is a special one including the state's leading tackler in 2025, a dynamic RB, and an explosive WR. There is a lot of impressive film to dive into and coaches make sure you are dialed in on these names early.

The sophomore LB out of Chippewa Falls used the 2025 season as his launching pad into the recruiting cycle. The 6' 200 lbs 2028 LB was everywhere on Friday nights, leading the state with 170+ tackles on the season. The sophomore only needed 10 games to get it done too. Ryan is already playing with a high level of football IQ. He does a great job with gap responsibility too. Physically, Ryan is able to easily roam the tackle box and also pursue to the sideline with enough speed to make tackles at the line of scrimmage. The 2028 does a great job with wrapping up ball carriers and making stout tackles. Ryan does a great job vs the run. He quickly finds the ball, is always moving downhill, and is able to avoid traffic on his path to the ball. Give the tape a watch and get him on your radars.

The Muskego offense has produced and developed a vast collection of talent in the backfield. Athletes who have gone on to play at the next level after great HS careers. The next athlete working through the program is 2028 RB [player_tooltip player_id='2059295' first='Bryson' last='Hoeffler']. Bryson finished the season as the team's leading rusher. Bryson torched defenses between the tackles. He is so explosive, quickly getting through gaps and getting to top speed by the time he hits the 2nd level. That put a lot of stress on the front seven because if they were a step out of position Bryson had the vision and speed to turn those seams into huge gains. No doubt about it, Bryson has that innate ability to make something out of nothing and threatens to turn any touch into a game-changing play. Big things ahead for the sophomore RB.

A kid that will be battling for #1 at his position is Elkhorn's RB Daschel Stallings. The underclassman already has a great build at 6'2" 180 lbs, and the traits shine on tape. The '28 RB already has a 1,000 yard season under his belt and averaged 10+ yds/carry while doing it. He is a serious big play threat that a defense has to contain instantly or Daschel will break them. Stallings brings an impressive blend of contact balance and elusive agility. Together it allows him to break tackles or make defenders miss. The instant he gets space you see that 2nd gear hit and Stallings came break away for the big gain. The playmaker at RB is going to be one to keep a close eye on.

The starting QB for Kaukauna put together a solid sophomore campaign leading the varsity. He compiled 2000+ all purpose yards, showing passing prowess and the running threat that defenses will have to account for over these next few seasons. On the ground Ryan is quick through traffic, avoiding contact and also bouncing off contact. As a passer Ryan is raw, but you see the ability to get the ball deep downfield, win with touch and accuracy, and going from target to target to find the open man. Ryan has a good base of film to build on.

Keonte is coming off a sophomore season where he earned All Conference honors at RB and LB/S. On offense the underclassman dominates by knifing through the defense with his explosive acceleration and vision behind the line of scrimmage. He has the balance and body control to pick through traffic and then explode into the open field. On defense I love the way Keonte plays so aggressively. He instantly goes on the attack as soon as he finds the ball. The 2028 is a really good tackler, especially for being a more undersized athlete. The versatile athlete is going to be a playmaker to watch over the next two years.

Daniel is a QB that will spark interest. The 2028 QB has a great build for the position at 6'4" 210 lbs. The big man is a pocket passer, but he isn't a statue. You will see him move around the pocket to buy time. The big man has a budding arm to match his frame. The short to intermediate throws are really impressive as the ball jumps out of his hand on a frozen rope to his targets. Deeper downfield the underclassman has to get more air under the ball, but as he continues to improve his mechanics we could see even more of an increase in his arm strength downfield. The raw signal caller has shown he can get the ball out quickly too. Daniel is a ball of clay with gifts to be developed. I'll be watching to see how he continues to grow and improve going forward.

Django carved out a role as the go to WR for MH/B as a sophomore. He finished 2nd on the team in receiving stats behind the team's TE. Django thrived with the deep passing attack. The sophomore is quick off the line and has the top end speed to take the top off the defense. He has the speed that forces DBs to play off coverage, but even with that you see him erase that cushion. The sophomore has natural hands too and overall ball skills. That deep ball dominance also opened up Django to dominate in the quick passing game, using his vision, speed, and agility to turn quick catches into highlight reel worthy plays. The playmaker is a name to know for the WR position. Especially for teams that utilize a slot WR.

Mace put together a breakout season, leading the team in every receiving category with 49/756/10 on the year. The 2028 is a WR that can win at every level of the field. His quick twitch agility and elusiveness give him the advantage in the quick passing game and after the catch overall. That quick twitch agility and body control allow him to win with route running on intermediate routes. His long speed, ball skills, and ability to go up and attack the ball at the high point help him win deep. Mace is a fun WR to watch because of the mismatch he creates out wide. This is going to be a top athlete to watch in this Class.
