Despite the blistering cold of Sunday, December 14th's frozen tundra of a morning and afternoon, over 250 Minnesotans, Wisconsinites, and North Dakotans descended on the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome for a tremendous day of competition. Split across two sessions and staffed & scouted by half a dozen college programs from around the state, the 2025 PrepRedzoneMN Stock Up Showcase kicked off with Session 1's RBs, LBs, OL, and defensive linemen, who stuffed the BP Sports Dome end-to-end with size, talent, and athleticism. PRZMN's post-event coverage continues with the cream of the crop, the heavyweight battle, the main event: the OL and DL. If you've been following our showcases for a while, you already know that of our nearly double-digit eventual Golden Gopher signees and upwards of 20 NDSU Bison commits who are alumni our MN Showcase, the majority are trench warfare specialists along the OL and DL, so it's safe to say that a lot of eyes and attention were on those two groups last Sunday, especially once 1v1s rolled around. Your top performers, some of whom are set to follow in their predecessors footstep's by making serious waves on the upcoming recruiting trail, are below! Dig in.

The best OT in attendance, [player_tooltip player_id='2078799' first='Nolan' last='Field'] put on a clinic in pass pro from his OT spot on Sunday at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase. Field, who possesses a decorated wrestling + track & field background, really showcased his multi-sport functional athleticism during 1v1s, where he was shut down on the edge of the LOS. Great balance and lateral agility, used his wrestling background to work, adjust, and succeed from a variety of different body positions, and was strong enough to handle power and athletic enough to handle speed/ finesse. Really came alive when the lights were the brightest and shut down some accomplished Big School Metro pass rushers in the process.

The 2025 PRZMN Stock Up Showcase OL MVP goes to Battle Lake's finest in rising senior iOL [player_tooltip player_id='1569588' first='Billy' last='Durbin']. A 2027 name that PRZMN is long familiar with, Durbin was at his very best on Sunday morning, showing up and producing nothing short of a shutdown, dominant, stonewall of a 1v1 pass pro session. It looked too easy for Durbin to be honest, as he did a great job of getting out of his stance early, being patient in his both his set and his punch, and setting his base to completely absorb his opponent's best effort before redistributing the momentum and halting the defender flat in his tracks in physical fashion. He handled twitch and power with equal effortlessness, and kept his hands active while maintaining great balance before and after contact. It barely looked like Durbin broke a sweat to boot. What a performance and what a prospect we have on our hands in the Battle Lake product.

A no-doubt Top Performer from the Stock Up Showcase's OL group, [player_tooltip player_id='1580757' first='Mason' last='Edwards'] did Byron High School proud on Sunday, proving himself to be a brick wall of a blocker along the interior of the LOS. Thanks to his big game experience with the Bears, Edwards rarely lost a rep on Sunday, as his strength at the point of attack, balance post-contact, and heavy hands were a huge asset at every point of a rep. Edwards most impressively stood out due to his ability to stay in optimal position both pre and post contact, and he rarely overextended, got over his toes, or got caught leaning and/or reaching in anticipation of a rusher. Plus, that Bears S&C program showed up well in how he manhandled weaker opposition once he got hands on. Someone is going to get a monster addition to their 2027 class in the Byron Bears iOL product.

Maybe the 2029 OL I am most bullish on at this point in time, Prior Lake has some serious underclassmen talent on their hands right now. Elliott, with a good build and noticeable room to fill in, was strong, versatile, and a top performer during 1v1 competition. Elliott, who is much stronger than your typical freshman, also did a great job of handling length at the contact point and off the edge, as well as speed rushers working from a 5T or wider. Stout base, excelled through contact, could adjust laterally while staying engaged with a rusher, and earned a nod for the Best on Best selections at the conclusion of 1v1s. Really impressed by how well-rounded Elliott is at such a young age; he needs to get on the ranking's Big Board ASAP.

Brady Anderson (Minnetonka) 2028. 6'5, 217 lbs.

The Minnetonka sophomore, who already possesses top-end size technical ability, came alive during 1v1s, showing off an effective combination of balance and lateral agility that helped him handle twitchier pass rushers from the DE spot. Sometimes, with young bucks of this size, you'll see a bit of uncoordinated foot speed, but Anderson was light on his feet and nimble in his pass set, with the size, length, and frame to really think about his potential as a 2028 OT prospect. Can't wait to get this kid on the Big Board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581381' first='Luke' last='Ketchum'] (Andover) 2028. 6'2, 285 lbs. 6'4" wingspan, 9" hands.

Sometimes, all it takes is one rep. I was lucky enough to see Ketchum stand tall against the flat-out largest prospect in attendance at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase, and boy was it a sight for sore eyes. Facing a David vs. Goliath-esque bull rush, Ketchum locked out, got his hands on, and dropped his base to completely stuff the attempted bowl-over power move by a seasoned and monstrous 6A DT. The pure strength, balance, physicality, and mental competitiveness it took to walk up to to the plate for that rep, much less win it, really caught and held my attention for the remainder of the Showcase. Andover has a good one here!

A rising 6A upperclassman from Apple Valley and Eastview High School, Woodruff caught the attention of PRZMN thanks to an excellent win and block on one of the top defensive tackles in attendance. Woodruff showed off great hand usage, as he routinely fought and won for inside hand placement, and his strength once he dropped his hips and set his base was evident in how well he handled power and bull rushes from upperclassmen competition. Lot of OL to like on the Lightning's 2026 roster.

First off: check out that wingspan and hand size numbers! Davis, a Brooklyn Center mauler of a senior, is one of my favorite sleepers in the 2026 OL class who would make for an excellent addition to a DII, DIII, or NAIA program's 2026 recruiting class. Davis is incredibly technically-sound, a hammer at the contact point, and equally as physical in pass pro as he is as a run blocker. Davis, who played OT for the Centaurs, best projects to OG at the next level, and he was taking reps at both positions during 1v1s, earning an easy selection for Best on Best reps to end the Session. Strong, experienced, confident, tough, and balanced, Davis doesn't give ground to anyone and is one of the more consistent blockers in the state's 2026 class. Someone hit my man up!

Now verified at a legit, eye-catching 6'3, 225 pounds, Mahtomedi High School's rising senior DE is PRZMN's pick for the "Alpha" award of Session 1. With hulking size and a legit two-sport resume backing him, Sokoll blew the water out of the testing portion of the Stock Up Showcase, going 5.0 in the 40, 4.66 in the shuttle, 9' in the broad, and 7.19 in the L-drill, displaying some serious athleticism to go along with his head-turning size, and things only got better from there. Legitimately unstoppable during 1v1s, Sokoll was blowing OL off balance and dominating at the point of attack. There was one particular rep near the end of the initial 1v1 session where Sokoll's punch landed so cleanly and with so much force that is seemed to echo through the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome, and he rocketed out of his stance and got into his first step like he was shot out of a cannon. Besides the get-off, Sokoll's ability to go speed-to-power was tremendous, and he was operating on another level of physicality and athleticism than his OL counterparts. Someone's stock is red hot going into winter workouts and the offseason recruiting circuit! Keep an eye on this 2027 Zephyr!

One of only two 2029s who I would even come close to describing as "freshman phenoms", Hopkins Royals defensive lineman Cordell Givance has my vote for the pound-for-pound best player in attendance at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase. With a familiar last name thanks to his brother, Champlin Park product turned NDSU starting safety Darius Givance, but younger brother Cordell has done more than enough to forge his own path and legacy at the prep level. The younger Givance made massive waves on the MN prep football scene two seasons ago when he started on the upstart Royals DL as an 8th grader (!), showing off legit two-way starting ability as a middle schooler competing against MN Big School competition. Givance, now a second-year starter, freshman, and captain for Hopkins, Givance was flat out tremendous at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase, displaying a natural and instinctive ability to beat blocks and rush the passer with lethal efficiency. Givance had the deepest and most dangerous bag of pass rushing tools at the entire event, and he did a great job of reading offensive tackles in their pass sets while simultaneously setting up blockers for a twitchy inside move, a tight bend at the top of the arc, a brutal bull rush or power move, and even a flashy spin move that awed the crowd with. Also a First Team All-Tester at the defensive line, Givance, to simply put it, is a great football player. I could see him as a Division 1 defensive tackle in a few years. Don't sleep!

Maybe the 2027 lineman I was most excited to see, Springfield High School was well represented at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase by monster defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1288305' first='Aiden' last='Moriarty']. Arguably the best and most versatile Jumbo Athlete in Minnesota, Moriarty was a flexible interior presence with some noticeable twitch as a pass rusher, and his combination of quickness and power was overwhelming for OTs and OGs alike. With one of the more diverse and decorated resumes in MN's 2027 class, it's safe to say Moriarty also has one of the highest ceilings. Great to see him compete live and in the flesh last Sunday in Brooklyn Park.

So much to like about Rocori's 2027 LB/EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='1581388' first='Nolan' last='VanLoy'], as well as his individual performance at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase this past Sunday. Not only was he the #1 best tester and athlete out of the LB group, VanLoy ran with the DL for 1v1s despite a big weight disadvantage compared to the competing OL, and was nearly untouchable, much less unstoppable, as a speed rusher off the edge of the LOS. Owning an explosive get-off from either a two or three-point stance, VanLoy was by far the bendiest prospect of the bunch, with noticeable flexibility in his hips, no wasted movement at the top of the arc, and noticeable play speed through it all. The edge was open for business all morning long if you were from Rocori last Sunday.

Representing Class AA, Crosby-Ironton's [player_tooltip player_id='1397399' first='Jacob' last='English'] is currently on a short list of Minnesota 2028's with a legit chance at playing D1 football right now, the sophomore put on a show last Sunday in Brooklyn Park. Nearly running 5 flat in the 40, English added a 4.8 shuttle and 8'5 broad jump to strengthen his budding athletic resume, and 1v1 wins were coming too easily to the MN small schooler during competition. Lightning quick off the snap and when working an inside rushing move, English had OT's off balance and on their heels all session long, and he was playing with so much speed that it was challenging for blockers to square English up, much less get hands on and stuff his rush. English is already presenting a "offer early" package in Minnesota's developing 2028 class.

One of the most physically impressive sophomores in attendance at the PRZMN Stock-Up Showcase, Cannon Falls was well represented in Brooklyn Park, as Sjoquist was not only a First Team All-Eye Test 2028er, he also went undefeated during 1v1s, a record that was far from overlooked by PRZMN. Sjoquist looked like a seasoned pass rusher during 1v1 competition, displaying the fact that he knew how to use his length to disengage from OL trying to get hands on, and his get-off was as explosive as it was effective, getting OL to panic set on their heels where he can set them up for twitcher inside moves and cuts. Lots to like in this stock-rising sophomore from the 507.

Starting for Eden Prairie as an underclassman is no small feat, but Hussong accomplished that task and then some in 2025, proving himself to be a stalwart brick smack dab in the middle of the trenches for the Eagles high powered defense this past fall. Hussong was a standout in all three phases of the event but was an especially fun watch during 1v1s, where he was one of the more unstoppable presences of the underclassmen group. Ton of juice from the interior as a pass rusher, with strong, active hands, an effective bull rush, and the ability to unlock his hips, as well as beat attempted blocks, with quickness and lateral agility. Hussong cuts tight off the backside of beaten blocking attempts, light, nimble feet, and a noticeable motor that was especially energetic snap to whistle. Future is very bright for this young iDL prospect; stay tuned for his big-time debut on the 208 Big Board next month!

A stocky, well-built freshman DL/LB out of the MN Big School ranks, Zappa is on track to really achieving some physical prowess on the football field. Already nearing 210 pounds, Zappa is nearly benching three plates already, and his strength at the point of attack and in his hands was evident during 1v1s and drill work. Also went 4.9 in the 40. Name to watch for the Bengals who should be making a solid debut on the 2029 rankings come update time.

A Session 1 All-Testing Team standout who brings some noteworthy athleticism to the DL and OL for the Class AAA Polars, Sweezy was also a top performer, as well as hardest hitter, when PRZMN watched the Polars beat up on Simley in Week 1 of the 2025 regular season. Sweezy, in part thanks to his impressively long arms, displayed great hand usage during 1v1s, as well as lethal quickness that he showed off on shifty, effective inside moves once OT's overset. Really like his versatility and competitiveness when the lights are the brightest. Big part of North's 2025 success.

A good athlete with some notable verifiable data backing him as a young freshman with 6A big boy Forest Lake, Wilson had a good showing in all three phases of the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase. His length, quickness, and get-off helped him earn his fair share of 1v1s in the talented underclassmen group of OL vs. DL competition. Exciting name to add to our growing 2029 ranking's big board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1366416' first='Corbin' last='Horsman'] (Chatfield) 2028. 6', 214 lbs. 6'2" wingspan.

A hard working young up-and-comer from the AA ranks and the Chatfield Gophers, Horsman was one of the quicker underclassmen DL in attendance at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome, and he flashed some serious juice as a pass rusher during some dominant 1v1 wins to finish off Session 1. Showed a decent bag of tools as a rusher with a noted spin move that he used effectively as well. Horsman continues to trend upwards in the 2028 class and is looking to continue a recent trend of heavyweight college prospects to come out of the Gophers.

Another exciting and promising prospect in Class A's Springfield Tigers' 2027 crop of talent, DL Horkey was a strong, well-built rising senior DL with long arms and strong hands, which I saw work effectively in person during 1v1s as well as during our personal handshake. Well coached and technically sound, Horkey was physical, and his get-off was one of the more explosive of the group, see his 8'5 broad jump for evidence. Horkey owns a balanced skillset that could really make some waves and impact at the DIII or NAIA level. Coaches: make Springfield High School a priority for 2027.

Hopkins is back on the up-and-up, with the Royals possessing three upcoming and consecutive recruiting classes that are chalk full of high-end talent and under-the-radar sleepers. Representing the 2027 class, Johnston has a great frame to continue adding weight and mass as he projects to the next level, and his quickness, as well as Big School experience playing with the Royals, served him well during 1v1s, where he earned his fair share of wins against quality OL competition.

Quite the eye-catching freshman Park Center has on their hands! Mixon, with an outstanding/frame length combination, is certainly still raw and settling into his still-growing body, but he's full of tools and potential in a 2029 recruiting class that still has a ton of runway left for development. Big-time potential out of this Pirates freshman.

Not the biggest DL in attendance, but like all of the Champlin Park prospects in attendance at the PRZMN Stock Up Showcase, Murray has juice. Extremely light on his feet, played with a naturally low center of gravity that gave big OL trouble, and could unlock his hips and bend the corner well from his DE spot. Showed an effective and consistent ability to counter OL's hands, punches, and positioning, as well as string together pass rusher moves to earn hard-fought wins during 1v1s against underclassmen competition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2081390' first='Lemar' last='Gatlin'] (MPLS Camden) 2027. 5'8, 237 lbs. 6' wingspan.

A multi-time PRZMN Showcase standout, Gatlin really comes alive during competition, as his hand-usage, ability to counter OL as well as unlock his hips, and strength at the point of attack allow him to easily shock, shed, and generally disengage from would-be blockers of all different shapes and sizes. The kid's a gamer, and would really add to a DIII or NAIA program's 2027 class next recruiting cycle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454217' first='KJ' last='Staples'] (Elk River) 2029. 5'10, 244 lbs. 6'6" wingspan. 10" hands.

Nothing about Elk River product [player_tooltip player_id='1454217' first='KJ' last='Staples'] screams freshman. Rocking a full beard, a stout, thick, garage freezer of a build, not to mention the 6'6" wingspan and 10" hands, the 244 lber. looks, moves, and plays more like a rising senior than your typical first year high schooler. Staples, with a crushing initial punch and a noticeably explosive get-off, Staples is like a boulder rumbling downhill when he rocks out of his stance, and his hand usage, strength, and general power moves were very hard to handle for opposing OL, and to sweeten the pot, Staples was one of the meanest competitors in attendance, possessing a nasty streak that helped him finish his wins emphatically. Future is bright for this 5A trench warfare specialist.

Jacob Feldt (Andover) 2028. 6'2, 214 lbs. 6'6" wing, 9.25" hands.

Good size on the sophomore Big Schooler, who showed off excellent length as well as the ability to use it effectively, and he had some loose hips that he used well at the top of the arc. Flashed some strong reps and wins on a frame that screaming that it's going to get bigger. So many fun pieces to keep track of at Andover.

[player_tooltip player_id='2081508' first='Anthony' last='Benson'] (Brooklyn Center) 2027. 5'11, 291 lbs. 6'6" wingspan, 9.5" hands.

A multi-time PRZMN Showcase standout, Benson is quite the treat to watch in 1v1 competitive settings. One of many Brooklyn Center standouts who showed up and showed at the Stock Up Showcase on Sunday, Benson has the ability to flip a switch when it comes to competitive settings, and as the kids would say it "has that dog in him." A dominant force thanks to his combination of core power, balance, chest strength, and hand usage, Benson is incredibly strong through contact, and not only were OL unable to halt him on his way to the backfield, they were also unable to keep their feet in the process. Lead in his hands and a smooth ability to counter was a lethal combination for OGs and OCs during 1v1s.

[player_tooltip player_id='1288339' first='Mason' last='Adams'] (Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial) 2027. 6'3, 260 lbs.

A unanimous First Team All-Eye Test selection, Adams possessed one of the best frames and build in attendance, and although he was raw, he had a versatile array of tools and strengths that a DII, DIII, or NAIA program could really utilize and take advantage of. Loved watching this kid work on Sunday.

Isaiah Fleck (Blaine) 2027. 6'4, 345 lbs.

The biggest. The baddest. The most physically intimidating and eye-catching prospect. Blaine's gargantuan DT Isaiah Fleck was the 8th wonder of the world on Sunday in Brooklyn Park, and boy oh boy would this kid look good in a scholarship collegiate program. Talk about a ball of clay, Fleck was flat-out dominant at the point of attack and from the interior of the LOS, consistently backing down and putting OL on their heels and heading backwards so fast you would have thought they were on skates. Fleck has rare size/athleticism combo for a monster of his size, and after having now seen him in both padded and unpadded settings with Blaine, it's safe to say I'm pumped to see how the Bengals recruitment develops this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='2082344' first='Malachi' last='Tolliver'] (MPLS North) 2027. 5'11, 265 lbs. 6'1 wingspan, 8.75" hands.

A dynamic and flashy rusher who came alive during 1v1s, Tolliver won 1v1 reps in a variety of ways on Sunday, with a deep and instinctive bag of pass rushing moves that he threw out with intentional abandon. Additionally, he had a nasty competitive streak that showed up well in how he finished reps, and his strength was evident in how easily he was able to shock & shed stronger OL in 1v1 settings. North always has good ball players, no matter the class or position.

Dig in.
