[player_tooltip player_id='1621875' first='Javez' last='Caldwell'] (Canisius) - Caldwell capped off his senior year with his second All-Catholic mention and one of the favorites to win the Trench Trophy. A two-way stud, the Canisius ground game was near unstoppable this season. On the De side of the ball, Javez led the Monsignor Martin league in QB sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1513375' first='Terrance' last='Ware Jr'] (St. Francis) - This was Ware's first season at St. Francis and he terrorized opposing QBs. He has a quick first step and led the Red Raiders in sacks as a junior.

Linebackers

[player_tooltip player_id='1293300' first='David' last='Amuka'] (St. Joe's) - Statistically, Amuka had a down year from a season ago but his measurables are outstanding. At 6'2 220 lbs., David has an excellent wingspan and solid awareness. He is a top LB recruit for colleges.

[player_tooltip player_id='1649781' first='Luke' last='Fleischman'] (St. Francis) - Fleischman is a solid sized LB that can hit hard. He was brought to St. Francis from Pioneer to transform their defense and he did just that. He made 61 stops at LB and showed excellent burst and pursuit angles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1514902' first='Damone' last='Harden'] (St. Joe's) - Harden is a two-year varsity player for St. Joe's and has been a playmaking OLB in their 3-4 scheme. He can rush the passer or drop his hips into pass coverage (as displayed by his 65 yard pick 6 vs rival Bishop Timon). Damone has one more season to go and should be a highly touted LB as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1624583' first='Larry' last='Hardy III'] (St. Francis) - Hardy made All-Catholic last season as a RB but in his senior year, the Red Raiders brought in a pair of RBs so Larry focused primarily on defense. At LB, he led St. Francis in tackles with 92 and registered 1.5 QB sacks.

Wesley Miller (Bishop Timon) - Miller was Timon's unquestioned defensive leader, topping the the Tiger's in tackles and sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1624510' first='Stone' last='Rozak'] (St. Joe's) - Rozak is probably the most dynamic LB in WNY. With the size of a prototypical OLB (6'4 235 lbs.), Stone has been a fierce ILB for the Marauders for the last two and a half seasons. He is also a fantastic TE with strong hands. He is getting several collegiate looks, including Division I-University at Buffalo.

Defensive Backs

[player_tooltip player_id='707562' first='Domonic' last='Cook Jr.'] (St. Francis) - Cook came into 2025 as a man on a mission. Dom proved to be one of the most dynamic players in WNY and could have made this list as a RB registering 950 All-Purpose yards in 9 games and 12 scores. He is a technically sound player at RB and Safety.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545197' first='Dallon' last='Floyd'] (Canisius) - Just a sophomore, Floyd is a two-year starter for the Crusaders defense and from year 1 to year 2 he has just gotten better. Dallon finished his second season with 54 tackles (3 for loss) and a QB sack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1367095' first='Xavier' last='Gates-Franklin'] (Canisius) - Another two-year starter for the Canisius defense, Gates-Franklin embodies what it means to be a shutdown Corner. His stats are not going to wow scouts but he has solid technique and came up big with 2 INTs in the Crusaders' playoff victory over St. Joe's.

Julius Afrifa-Irving (Bishop Timon) - Although he is a senior, Irving is a name that is new to me. Julius is a twitchy WR/DB prospect that brings big play ability to the game. His 4 INTs was tied for a league high.

Quentin Littleton (Canisius) - A surprise addition to the All-Catholic team, sophomore Safety Quentin Littleton made his varsity debut in 2025 and led the whole MMAA in tackles with 110 while registering 4.5 sacks.

Sam Skalski (St. Francis) - Skalski is a playmaker in every sense of the word. He had a dynamic senior year racking up 66 tackles, 1 QB sack and an INT.

[player_tooltip player_id='1339482' first='Amari' last='Worthy'] (Bishop Timon) - Worthy had a big breakout junior season racking up 24 tackles and a league tying 4 INTs. This is his first year making All-Catholic and should be primed for a bigger role as a senior.
