I actually plan on being in attendance and scouting this game against Hudsonville Unity Christian! From what I have seen on tape and in the offseason, Jack is an extremely physical player with a ton of upside. First thing you'll notice is the way he runs angry, and hits the hole already at top speed. He has no issue running behind his pads, but has the extra gear and athleticism in the open field to make guys miss and hit the explosive play. I am really looking forward to seeing what Bollman can do against an extremely tough and physical Unity Christian team.

Cox and his EGR team will have their work cut out for them against a tough Mt. Pleasant squad, and Asa could provide that much needed spark. Both offensively and defensively, Asa finds a way to get to the ball. Defensively, he does a great job of sticking with receivers and playing the ball. Offensively, he has multiple highlights of him high pointing the football and coming down with some high difficulty catches. He should be a big part of the gameplan heading into this weeks tilt with Mt. Pleasant.

By all accounts, Malik has had a great season. My counterpart Alex just wrote about him and his solid performance against Cousino in the district finals. What he said is exactly what I see on film. The ability to not get engaged for too long, and the ability to get into the backfield and cause havoc is absolutely there. Great fire off speed, great bend and motor allows him to be a menace to opposing offensive linemen. His services will definitely be needed this week against a Lakeview team that has put together an impressive run in the back half of this season. Cipullo will need to bring his A game and impact this one as much as possible.

Wyatt has turned into quite the gadget guy for this Hudsonville offense. They love splitting him out, putting him in motion across the formation and creating confusion and eye candy for the defense. At his best, he takes sweeps and short passes and turns them into explosive plays, getting into the open field and making tacklers look silly. When I watched him against East Kentwood the first time, he was a massive piece of the passing game as well, coming down with a couple of really impressive contested catches. I think in the 2nd iteration of this game, Wyatt will be just as important. While EK will want to key in on some of the other big weapons on this Hudsy offense, Wyatt could be the true difference maker if they don't account for him and his big-play ability.

In a game against an elite passing offense, a great defensive back will be crucial. [player_tooltip player_id='1337355' first='Ty' last='Duffy'] could be that difference maker. We have seen him do it all season long, against some great competition. He is quick and athletic, able to cover a ton of ground in a hurry while roaming the secondary. He makes life extremely difficult for opposing quarterbacks who think they have an open receiver, but instead he sprints and closes any sort of separation. He has shown the ability to jump routes and snag interceptions when QBs aren't careful, and I think Clarkston will absolutely need that this week against Detroit Catholic Central.
