We are very fortunate that we live in a state with tons of talent, especially at the QB position. Right now there are 4 ranked P4 schools with QBs from Michigan at the helm. Beyond the high D1 talent, there are plenty of other talented QBs that may get overlooked. Below are a few guys that definitely should be highlighted for their performance this season!

Ben is a really underrated talent with a ton of upside. Great footwork, mechanics and decision making. He has done a really nice job leading St. Clair over the last few years and has consistently performed well. Through injury, team changes and all, Ben has been a solid as a rock leader for his squad. His tape from this year shows tremendous growth once again, with a ton of consistency in his mechanics and throwing motion. Whether it's under pressure or not, he delivers nice and accurate balls all over the field. Ben is a talented QB that can be a difference maker at the next level!

Watching Trent's highlights, it's clear to me that he has developed a ton. He can get out of the pocket and move around, keep eyes downfield and deliver some impressive strikes. He has good arm strength and seems to be able to place the ball wherever he wants. Him and his team are continuing on in the playoffs, and a lot of it is because of how balanced this offense can be. Ison allows them to be able to take advantage of defenses creeping up to stop their potent ground attack. When he runs the ball, he is able to shimmy through the hole and break tackles along the way for extra yardage. He's athletically gifted and an extremely hard worker as well, which should bode well for him going forward.

One thing about Evan's game- he loves the deep ball. His tape is full of well-placed bombs with great velocity. Evan has a huge arm, and isn't afraid to use it. That arm strength allows Evan to be deadly on short and intermediate throws as well as he can hit slants, hitches and out routes with great velocity, not allowing the defensive backs time to make a play. Another nice element is his ability on the ground. A few of his best highlights are getting into the open field, making defenders miss with relative ease. This was a really successful season for him and his development, and I am really looking forward to what steps he can take in the offseason!

Noah is one of those quarterbacks that defensive coaches have nightmares about. Noah specializes in scrambling around, making pass rushers whiff and keeping his eyes downfield to find receivers that break open. His highlights consistently show his ability to move inside and outside of the pocket. His arm strength is good and he can push the ball downfield easily. I love seeing him hit seam routes and post routes right on the money with good anticipation. He has good size, outstanding athleticism and the ability to create. He has received a bit of attention from some colleges, but I think he is largely underrated.

Cooper is a seasoned vet who has played a ton of downs for Northville. He has proven time and time again that he is an absolute gamer. This season, he looked as comfortable and in control as one possibly could. He trusted his instincts and trusted what he read and slung the ball around confidently. Good technique, good fundamentals and pure arm talent has turned Cooper into a pretty solid prospect overall. Maybe my favorite characteristic of his showed through this past week when his team called on him to play DB to cover some of the most elite talents our state has to offer. Not only did he do that, but he did it well. Coming away with an interception, some big stops and a forced fumble. He's an all-around talent that has the intangibles you want, with the work ethic to never stop growing.
