Recruiting Report Update: New Offers and Commitments

He just picked up his first offer and first P4 offer from Boston College last week. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player who is a versatile DB. Jordan plays CB but I also like him as an over the top centerfield type FS. He's got impressive length with very fluid hips. His play style is that of a ball hawk. He does a good job locating the ball in the air and goes &amp; gets it. He is able to play bump &amp; run coverage, turn and run with receivers staying in the hip pocket. A rangy player, Jordan can cover ground and uses his length and stride well to get in position for PBUs and INTs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Expect plenty more colleges to be getting eyes on Jordan this winter/spring with many more offers in his future. A player I have seen plenty over the last year and think he is an FCS level prospect.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A playmaking slot WR, Mr. Samuel is a shifty swiss army knife of an offensive weapon. He shows quick feet &amp; nice twitch, can make a guy miss in tight spaces and find grass. Displays strong hands, can go and snatch it out the air. He can also make a difficult catch. and plays bigger than his size. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Can not fault him for making a decision for his future getting a high level education at the next level. Picking up and offer from Howard U last week, I don't think it will be his last new offer in the next few week before signing day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Breyon is a dynamic versatile ATH that can fit a lot of different schemes on both sides of the ball. He plays RB and some slot WR on offense, and an over hang SS/OLB on defense. Looking every bit the part on the hoof, he is a rocked up muscled up dude. On offense he has deceptive speed &amp; wiggle. Breyon hits the hole hard with good burst and show nice vision &amp; balance. Runs behind his pads but has twitch in hips, can make defenders miss. That translates to him being a plus player as a receiver out the backfield or lining up in the slot. On Defense he plays with excellent instincts, physicality and a nose for the ball. Breyon is able to make plays the the LOS or in coverage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Breyon is a player with a lot of potential and playmaking ability in numerous ways. Colleges are finally starting to take notice as well as he just picked up his first offer from D2 Gannon last week. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the year Da'Rell put up 15 TFLs, 2 FFs and 7.5 sacks. Plenty of solid production from an athletic, rush IDL. Able to play multiple spots along the defensive line, he plays with power and explosiveness. A disruptor who is constantly in the backfield impacting player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I expect him to continue this high level of play as MMA continues their playoff push for states. Don't be surprised either if he ends up as a BTC All-Star this winter as well. He recently picked up his first offer from Catholic Univ. the other week and is generating interest from multiple D2s. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An excellent all purpose back, Orlando gets it done running the ball and as a receiver out of the backfield. With over 750 total yds and 11 TDs on the season, he is a proven impact player. Orlando's got excellent elusiveness and wiggle with the ball in his hands. Able to make the first defender miss and get positive yards. He gets upfield quickly with good burst and shows nice vision and balance as he runs. Finally colleges are starting to take notice as well as he just picked up his first FBS offer from Kent State on Halloween day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the season Jakhai racked up 76 total tkls, 27 tfls, 10 sacks, 7 PBUs, 1 FF, and even 1 Pick 6. Those are some great numbers on the year and I don't know what his pressures may have been but I can guarantee it was high. He is an edge defender also in the backfield and always disrupting plays. His impact on plays is higher even than his recorded stats. Jakhai plays fast and physical, gets all over the field and plays with power &amp; athleticism. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I would not surprise me if this was not his only offer that comes Jakhai's way this winter. He can cover lots of grass and will drop the hammer on receivers who come across him. Darrell plays with fluid hips allowing him to change direction and close on the ball. A top 15 overall player in the state and one of the top Safeties in the area it is a big time local get for the Terps. A chance Darell may possibly be joined be another DeMatha Stag &amp; PSU de-commit. After seeing him live in game earlier this season he certainly is deserving of it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An edge rusher who can play stand up backer or put his hand in the ground as a pass rushing DE. A thick muscled build, he plays with nice strength and power. As a rusher Kaden can dip his shoulder, bend the edge &amp; flatten down the line. That combined with his high motor and ability to pursue allows him to consistently make plays all over the field. Physical enough to hold the outside and athletic enough to slip blockers and get skinny on his way to the QB. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player that offers some scheme versatility as a an edge LB/DE, with good size and physical traits.
