Orlando has been a big time playmaker for Westlake all year long and a key to strong season. He recently picked up his first offer from Catholic Univ. the other week and is generating interest from multiple D2s.
An excellent all purpose back, Orlando gets it done running the ball and as a receiver out of the backfield. With over 750 total yds and 11 TDs on the season, he is a proven impact player. Orlando’s got excellent elusiveness and wiggle with the ball in his hands. Able to make the first defender miss and get positive yards. He gets upfield quickly with good burst and shows nice vision and balance as he runs. Expect Orlando to be a recruit who more and more colleges look to these next few months with more offers on the way.

Orlando is an athletic do it all RB with with impressive agility and elusiveness. Displaying electric feet and the ability to change direction and move with great burst. Orlando plays fast, can make defenders miss while also running hard and won’t go down easy. He’s got some power and toughness to go along with his slipperiness. A dynamic playmaker and versatile RB, look for Orlando to have a big senior year for Westlake.

Moss had some ups and downs but showed growth as the session continued. He created space on a corner route, but the pass was underthrown. He didn’t get enough separation on a seam route, and the play was broken up. In drills, he showed good lateral quickness and active feet. If he can improve his initial burst, Moss has the tools to be a real threat out of the backfield.

In a deep group that saw some of the top running backs in the DMV it was Westlake’s Orlando Moss who earned the MVP honors. Moss was terrific all afternoon and he received high praise from numerous college coaches watching the action. Really good testing results and when it came to the individual drills Moss had won the day. Bright future for this young man, check out some of his reps below.

Moss is a workhorse of a running back for his size. He plays tough and physical as he bounces off tacklers. He runs well when getting north to south and does a good job at getting to his gaps, then accelerating. I’m intrigued to see how Moss does in this environment Sunday.
