<h2 class="wp-block-heading">NorCal's next wave of talent is already making noise, with underclassmen across the region flashing big-time potential and elevating their recruiting stock. From early breakout seasons to rapid midyear jumps, these young prospects are proving they're on track to become the area's next premier playmakers. Here are the underclassmen whose stock is rising fast in Northern California.</h2>    A dynamic athlete at 6'0” 200 who recently picked up his first offer from Colorado State. Well-built frame for the position, he brings an impressive blend of short-area quickness and breakaway speed, making him dangerous in space and tough to contain at the second level. He shows natural ball-carrier instincts, consistently reading his blocks and attacking running lanes with burst. His leg drive and strength allow him to fight through contact, and he pairs that physicality with an excellent lateral jump cut to make defenders miss and avoid arm tackles. A complete back with high upside and true playmaking ability. Expect more FBS offers to follow as he gets more opportunities and gains exposure.      San Diego State came in to give the WR his initial college offer. At 6'2” 180 lbs. he brings the kind of length and athleticism that immediately draws attention. He accelerates quickly off the line, creating a strong drive phase, and pairs it with true long speed that allows him to run past coverage and become a dangerous vertical threat. Possesses high level ball skills, he's able to track and adjust to midair ball flight naturally and attacks the ball at the catch point with confident hands. After the catch, he's got explosive playmaking ability to turn routine receptions into chunk plays. He's a high upside receiver with the tools to thrive at the D1 level and will see a bump in recruitment as the cycle progresses.      The freshman flashed high-level potential throughout the season, earning his first offer from Sacramento State. At 6'0”, 175 pounds, he already brings good length to the position with plenty of room to grow and fill out physically. He shows smooth movement skills and strong straight-line speed, giving him the ability to stress defenses vertically. His large catch radius extends well outside his frame, and his quick, reliable hands allow him to react and adjust naturally to the ball in the air. With a strong foundational skill set and the physical tools to develop even further, he's a young receiver to watch closely over the next few years.      He's a strong cover corner with an ideal frame for a freshman, standing 6'1”, 170 pounds, and offering plenty of room to grow physically. He shows good eye discipline, staying patient in coverage and reading routes without getting caught guessing. Aggressive at the catch point to play through the receiver's hands to break up throws and disrupt timing. His footwork is quick and controlled, and he transitions smoothly, showing the ability to plant, drive, and accelerate out of his breaks to close on the football. He also brings natural instincts and impressive ball-judgment skills, consistently putting himself in position to make plays. With a strong foundation, physical upside, and competitive mentality, it's no surprise he earned his first offer from Sacramento State. He's a high-upside prospect to watch closely as he continues to develop.      The sophomore put together a true breakout season, hauling in 44 receptions for 805 yards and 10 touchdowns. At 6'0”, 175 pounds, he's a savvy receiver with a complete and refined skill set. He's a crafty, creative route runner who wins with tempo changes and sharp acceleration out of his breaks. He understands how to create positional leverage at the catch point and consistently makes outstanding plays on the ball, even in traffic. With strong overall game speed, he brings both short-area quickness and long speed to threaten defenses at all three levels. A major Division I talent, he recently earned a big-time first offer from Oregon, an early sign of the college attention he'll be sure to draw.
