Jefferson is one of the top young players across the central valley and can run a diverse route tree, create seperation downfield and has a huge catch radius to go over the top and make big plays in contested situations. He shows he can win on 50/50 balls and got plenty of varsity playing experience as a freshman in 2025 while checking into our rankings as a top ten guy at the position and should have a breakout sophomore campaign for Patterson this Fall. He will be one to keep a close eye on across the central valley in a loaded sophomore group across the region and he should see some offers flow his way in the coming months.
A long, athletic wide receiver with the speed and skill to attack the field at all three levels of the offense. He pairs explosiveness and top-end speed with strong hands, allowing him to consistently make contested catches. Skilled at boxing out defenders, he creates positional leverage and extends at the catch point to secure the football in traffic. A versatile playmaker, he can line up outside, in the slot, or in motion, posing a threat both vertically and horizontally. With field awareness, smooth route running, and physicality at the catch point, he projects as a dynamic, multi-level receiving threat at the next level. Earned his first offer from Sacramento State midway through his freshman season and will see more recruiting attention as he develops.
Jefferson has elite length and the frame to look for at the FBS level already and shows a huge catch radius, strong hands and terrific tracking abilities over the top. He is a long strider that chunks yardage off the ball and can stretch the field and get over the top of safeties with solid body control and consistent hands at the point of attack. After the catch, he has some open field wiggle and deceptive third level speed to pull away from defenders. Although still learning how to finish runs and be a consistently crisp route runner, he is well beyond his years as a freshman and is going to be Patterson’s top weapon for the next three seasons.
The freshman flashed high-level potential throughout the season, earning his first offer from Sacramento State. At 6’0”, 175 pounds, he already brings good length to the position with plenty of room to grow and fill out physically. He shows smooth movement skills and strong straight-line speed, giving him the ability to stress defenses vertically. His large catch radius extends well outside his frame, and his quick, reliable hands allow him to react and adjust naturally to the ball in the air. With a strong foundational skill set and the physical tools to develop even further, he’s a young receiver to watch closely over the next few years.
