This team was just different. They played together, they played hard, and more than anything, they believed. Trebley and the offense came out on fire right away, jumping out to a big lead. They were simply better in every aspect of the game today, which is why they pulled away so easily. Jacobia helped wear them down on the ground. He's efficient, runs the offense, finds the open man, and creates issues with his legs for the defense. All of that was true again against Merrillville. It wasn't until late on a blocked punt that the 59ers broke through. They got set up on the opposing 40-yard line and took advantage.
