A three-sport athlete (Football/Basketball/Track) who had a spectacular junior season, Johnson is a DB who brings a lot to the table. A physical free safety with an intriguing frame, Johnson lit up the stat sheet throughout last season and put out some great tape in the process. His speed and recovery jumped out to me on his film. Johnson is able to hawk down receivers, whether that be to make a drive-saving tackle downfield, make a last-second PBU, or make an impact in the run game with tackles in the box. He's big, fast, and physical, a fantastic combination. I'm excited to see what Johnson does this offseason.

A starting safety for what was a talented Forest Lake squad last season, Laszczak is an athletic DB who has seen success across a variety of positions over the past couple of years. His physicality and aggressiveness stood out to me very early on in his tape. He's got no problem blowing up blockers to make a tackle, and frequently showcases impressive closing speed when stopping the run. He's very careful not to overpursue and can erase cutback lanes, especially in the box. With a productive camp circuit this summer, Laszczak could catch a lot of recruiting attention.

One of the top DBs in his class, Tamukong has already been on some high-profile gameday visits at schools like the University of North Dakota. Diving into his junior tape, you can't help but be impressed with Tamukong's potential. He's primarily a boundary corner, and on the first several plays of his tape, you get a sense of what he brings to the table. Tamukong is super quick and does a fantastic job of reading the QB's eyes. He can break on an instant toward balls, and makes QBs pay for underthrowing passes. He adjusts incredibly well to the path of the ball, which is part of the reason for his frequent interceptions and PBUs. He's an excellent zone corner whose stock I can see leaping this offseason. I'd love to get a look at him during some camps this summer.

A big body starting offensive lineman for what was an exceptionally potent rushing offense in 2025, Knies has been putting out loads of tape, which properly showcases his upside. The Rangers guard is physical and has a little bit of a mean streak, and can be frequently seen working his way to the second level and planting LBs in the dirt. He's more athletic than your typical OL and has quick feet that allow him to put defenders on skates early on. He's uncommonly good at run blocking in space and can engage defenders across the field. I love watching his physicality when he pulls; he'll punish defenders for being in his way. I could easily see Knies becoming an OL riser this offseason.

I have no idea what role Jude will have for Mounds View next season, but that is because his positional versatility is absolutely insane. He could very well be the QB1 for the Mustangs next fall, but he could also be the WR1, RB1, or any number of other roles. Most of his junior tape is at receiver, where he saw an incredible amount of success, leading the team in receiving yards despite splitting targets with a D1 commit. As a wideout, he's very well-rounded. Jude consistently finds ways to get open and manages to rack up both a ton of yards after the catch and after first contact. He's shown great bursts of explosive athleticism and has the potential to be a big problem in the open field. He's also made some improbable catches on the edges of the field, showcasing his hands. Jude has all the markers of a breakout athlete.

McGlynn was easily one of, if not the most productive, DB in 6A this season. He tallied over 80 tackles in 9 games, as well as an assortment of other stats. McGlynn is a sharp and versatile athlete, capable of high-level zone coverage against talented DBs, as well as working in the box and stopping the run against some of the dominant ground and pound squads 6A has become known for. He wraps up well and consistently puts himself in positions to succeed. He plays downhill and doesn't hesitate to engage with blockers even if he's outmatched size-wise, and fights hard to break through. I love how he plays the option, and throughout the season, he showed that he was able to make TFLs on both the pitch recipient and the QB. I'm pumped to see where he goes from here after such an exciting junior year.

The other guard for the Rangers this fall, Lopez, is a unit of an O-lineman who I could see making a splash this offseason. You notice his size instantly on tape, and the fact that for 310, he moves well, highlighting quick feet at times. I was most impressed with his pass-pro, however. Bigger offensive linemen typically lack finesse, but Lopez does an excellent job of hand-fighting with defensive linemen and employs a deadly push-pull move that can send defenders to the ground. Often, 300 lbers can struggle with pad level and working to LBs, both of which don't seem to be an issue for Lopez. He's got a nice low stance, and I see him play lower than most throughout his tape. A future two-year starter for a 6A program at a true 3 bills? It's hard to imagine colleges passing on a prospect like Lopez.
