Some teams are in playoff contention and delivered must win performances, while others faltered. In today's article, I will be giving a quick rundown and highlighting some great performances <em>individual or team</em> from Week 9. Let's dive into it</p>

<p>At first it looked like Arvada West had this in the bag. They went up 21-0 to end halftime. However, Chatfield didn't give up, fighting back throughout the game. They had a game tying touchdown, but with a PAT missed the comeback dissolved. Both offenses were flying at a high gear with the respective quarterbacks launching it downfield for big gains. </p>

<p>Legend decimated Douglas County throughout all 3 phases of play. Boston College commit QB [player_tooltip player_id='908934' first='DJ' last='Bordeaux'] threw 5/8 for 129 yards, 62.5% completion rate, and 2 touchdowns with 4 carries for 16 yards. Bordeaux was decisive and demonstrated his very quick processing showing why he is a top QB in Colorado. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='212253' first='Ryken' last='Banks'] led the way with 7 carries for 104 yard and 3 touchdowns, 2 receptions for 41 yards. He has very good athletic ability and his elite balance was on full display, breaking tackles and going free for big gains. He had a nose for the endzone and wouldn't be stopped till he reached it. </p>

<p>Corner [player_tooltip player_id='1696707' first='Freddie' last='Burke'] had an interception return for 71 yards, and was lock down all day against his opponents. Legend is firing at all gears before the playoffs. </p>

<p>Grandview's [player_tooltip player_id='1330939' first='Jaxson' last='Flores'] had a breakout receiving game with 7 receptions for 127 yards. Flores is a phenomenal 2 way player. He has very good athletic ability paired with very good catching. His very good release and separation quickness always him more room to operate and make defenders miss after the catch. As a defensive back, he uses his very good man and zone coverage to dominate the skies. QB [player_tooltip player_id='757207' first='Blitz' last='McCarty'] had a solid night going 14/25 for 197 yards and 1 touchdown. With running back [player_tooltip player_id='1308273' first='Chris' last='Blanks'] having 25 carries for 75 yards and 1 touchdown. Grandview showed grit and perseverance in this game against Eaglecrest.</p>

<p>Eaglecrest's Jayden Bradley has a great night with 10 total tackles. His very good athletic ability was on full display, as this safety was running around the field to make plays. Bradley was very good in run support and shows off his hard hitting skills. [player_tooltip player_id='1306314' first='Cameron' last='Bell'] had a good night as well, with 5 total tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 sack. Eaglecrest will look to regroup ahead of next week's matchup against Arapahoe.</p>
