<p>Taking down cross town rival and previously undefeated Colonial Forge by two scores, Riverbend may be the best overall team in Virginia. [player_tooltip player_id='1312062' first='Camden' last='Simmons'], Ian Shook and a host of others showed the rest of state how talented they really are. They may be a betting favorite for the Class 5 title, but schools such as Stone Bridge and John Champe may have a say. </p>

<p>Despite the setback the Eagles should still be considered amongst the favorites in Class 6. Oscar Smith has looked the part and perhaps better as their season marches along. [player_tooltip player_id='521793' first='Lonnie' last='Andrews'], [player_tooltip player_id='402779' first='Travis' last='Johnson'], [player_tooltip player_id='447440' first='Ty'jae' last='Curtis'] are all putting on a show. Regarding the northern region Woodbridge, Lake Braddock and Centreville would like to have a seat at the table as well. </p>

<p>Gar Field vs Woodbridge in two short weeks is setting up to be another classic. The Vikings have one of the most dynamic offenses in Virginia while the Red Wolves behind [player_tooltip player_id='853886' first='LJ' last='Richards'], Marcus Freeman and [player_tooltip player_id='853095' first='Troy' last='Hamlin'] have quietly marched along. West Springfield travels to Burke to face off against Lake Braddock, this game could be for the top seed in the region. [player_tooltip player_id='1298213' first='Scott' last='Lewis'], [player_tooltip player_id='1664154' first='Dillan' last='Wickham'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297867' first='Anthony' last='Bello'] have the Spartans offense clicking while Lake Braddock behind [player_tooltip player_id='1297748' first='Tyrone' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1236900' first='Khaleed' last='Cash'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297865' first='Zachary' last='Hibner'] have yet to be contained.</p>
