He was in the trenches and made tackle after tackle. He's got a good head on his shoulders and knows how to read the field. I liked his ability to get off blocks and use his strength to wrap up in the open field. Hogue was sideline to sideline and led the team with tackles. He's got fantastic range and is a great athlete who can run in coverage. He can go sideline to sideline without an issue. He can turn and run with the best of them, and then can come flying downhill to play the run. He led their game on Friday with 16 tackles. He's not afraid to come up and play the run or clog gaps. He was making plays near the line of scrimmage all night and gave his offense a few short fields. He's a run stuffer who can get off blocks, has long arms, and makes tackles with the 1 extended arm. He forces teams to run away from him, and he'll still find a way to make a play. Friday was no different, and they needed him to come through, and he did. He's nimble and can find ways by the line to get in the backfield.
