Fast-Rising Hoosier State Prospects Seeing Their Recruiting Boom

Schott is a great receiver and rout runner. Tall, strong and tough, he is also effective after the catch. He wins one-on-one battles, flashes great adjustment to the ball and wins contested catches. The 6-foot-2, 285-pound prospect is a stout run defender who flies to the ball and takes good angles to wrap up ballcarriers. I see Day becoming a 3-4 nose tackle at the next level who can plug the run. Would like to see him develop skills as a pass rusher. Strong and tough inside runner. Portee has very good vision and cutback ability. He can pick and choose running lanes effectively and is a very good runner in space. Portee was a standout at the Indiana Preps Winter Showcase last weekend. Edwards has a good first step, can work to the second level effectively and drive defenders off the ball. Edwards does a good job of neutralizing rushers in pass pro, keeping defenders between his feet and winning with good hand placement and strike timing.
