[player_tooltip player_id='275127' first='Derek' last='Zammit'] once again showed why he's considered one of the top quarterbacks in New Jersey. The four-year starter displayed poise and toughness against Don Bosco, keeping his team competitive despite the loss. One of his signature plays came on a physical run that ended in a rushing touchdown, where he combined speed, vision, and power to finish in the end zone. Beyond his legs, Zammit proved he can stay accurate under pressure and keep the chains moving through the air. His ability to create both within and outside the structure of the offense stood out. While DePaul didn't leave with a win, Zammit's leadership and versatility were clear. The University of Washington commit continues to show why he's one of the most reliable playmakers in the Garden State.

In just his fourth career start, [player_tooltip player_id='1907950' first='Carson' last='Schoen'] once again showed poise well beyond his experience. Against DePaul, the young signal-caller played with confidence, staying cool and collected in a big-game atmosphere. His accuracy stood out all night, especially on a perfectly thrown 65-yard touchdown strike to [player_tooltip player_id='852611' first='Isaiah' last='Alvarez']. Schoen's ability to consistently hit deep shots while also attacking the intermediate areas made him a tough cover for the defense. He even displayed mobility, creating plays outside of structure when protection broke down. With each game, Schoen continues to elevate his play and prove that he's on track to become one of the top quarterback prospects in New Jersey.

Making the jump from St. Thomas Aquinas to Don Bosco, sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='1597918' first='Casi' last='Thomas'] has already proven himself to be one of the most dynamic young playmakers in the state. His coach calls him their most versatile weapon, and this game showed why. Thomas ran with patience and vision, slipping through small creases before showing off his elusiveness in the open field. He also flashed his versatility as a pass catcher, making plays out of the backfield to keep drives alive. His highlight moment came late, when he capped off the night with an 11-yard touchdown run that sealed the victory for Don Bosco. At 5'11” with size, quickness, and dynamism, Thomas has the tools to emerge as one of New Jersey's premier backs—and the scary part is, he's only a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='852611' first='Isaiah' last='Alvarez'] left no doubt that he's one of the most dynamic pass catchers on the field. In the first half alone, he found the end zone twice—one score came on a catch that highlighted his run-after-catch ability and speed, while the other showed his ability to stack a defensive back, separate vertically, and win up the sideline. Alvarez wasn't done there. He capped off his stellar night with a third touchdown from backup quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='121685' first='Dylan' last='Wrona'], proving he can thrive no matter who's under center. What stood out most was how consistently he created separation, tracked the ball deep, and used his size and athleticism to dominate one-on-one matchups. Alvarez showed why he's Don Bosco's most dangerous receiver and a nightmare for opposing secondaries.

[player_tooltip player_id='212399' first='Rhett' last='Morris'] set the tone up front for Don Bosco's offense, dominating in the trenches all night. He proved himself to be more than just a physical presence—he showed he's a complete offensive lineman. Morris consistently delivered a powerful initial punch, driving defenders off the ball in the run game, and then showcased his athleticism by climbing to the second level and finishing blocks downfield. His ability to block effectively on the move added another layer to Don Bosco's ground attack, giving their backs clear running lanes throughout the game. As part of a punishing Bosco offensive line, Morris stood out at guard, making it clear why he's considered one of the top interior linemen in New Jersey.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259105' first='Aidan' last='O'Neil'] rose to the challenge in one of the toughest matchups of the night, lining up primarily against Penn State offensive line commit [player_tooltip player_id='1018136' first='Marlen' last='Bright']. Despite facing a fellow four-star prospect, O'Neil was relentless, wreaking havoc in the backfield from start to finish. He used his length, power, and polished pass-rush technique to overwhelm blockers, finishing the game with 1.5 sacks while pressuring quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='275127' first='Derek' last='Zammit'] on multiple occasions. Just as impactful in run defense, O'Neil set the edge with discipline and physicality, making it tough for DePaul to find success on the ground. A junior already holding offers from Penn State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Boston College, O'Neil is proving himself as one of New Jersey's premier defensive prospects with the ability to change games in the trenches.

While DePaul Catholic struggled to find a consistent offensive rhythm against Don Bosco, [player_tooltip player_id='910758' first='Sean' last='Nevers'] managed to stand out as a clear bright spot. At 6'1”, 200-plus pounds, Nevers displayed the kind of physical running style that wears down defenses. His contact balance was impressive, often requiring multiple defenders to bring him to the ground, and he combined that physicality with enough burst to create chunk gains when given space. Even against a tough Don Bosco front, Nevers showed flashes of why he can be a difference-maker at the running back position. His size, toughness, and ability to keep his legs churning made him one of the few players who could consistently generate positive yards for the DePaul team. Despite the loss, Nevers' performance only reaffirmed his potential as a top-tier back in New Jersey.
